  • Morning Hotdog, I can imagine it's very stressful knowing you're on limited time in your current job with no other lined up. So be easy on yourself ❣️
I'd also accept help from family if unable to find anything else. If they're willing and able that would be a great relief to you.
Good luck with the interview, when is it? It might be an "ok for now" job if you're offered it and allow you some breathing space until you find another remote position?
Hope you have a lovely day. The swimming will help you through this I think so keep it up if you can.

Is it maybe time to look at going to college & taking a course in something that you would like to do?

  • Good luck with the interview. If it's meant to be it will be. And if it's not I always believe there is something better suited round the corner ☺️ I can understand the stress right now I think I'd be feeling the same.
Swimming will help alleviate stress though so factor that into your day. And perhaps factor in one hour of downtime as writing time....?

Thanks debtfreewannabe321, I will definetely be swimming today and I think I will write too or at least get some ideas down. The meeting is over I am officially unemployed with a months pay, I thought I would have to work the last month, so that is a bonus. Gosh I could do with a job!!

    O.A.O.
Oh gosh! They didn't even make you work the last month. Well I suppose that's good in a way you can attend as many job interviews as possible now. I'd also get down to the job centre and sign on (if that's how it's done these days?).
Sending hugs I can only imagine how you're reeling right now 🤗

Hi HotDog, I'm really sorry to hear the news about your job. Hope the interview went well today - and even if it doesn't come to anything, it will still have been good practice. I agree with others that you shouldn't hesitate to accept help from your family as they have offered it, and also to carry on with the swimming as I'm sure it'll be a good stress reliever. I hope you find a new job that you're happy with very soon!
  • Ooo good luck hotdog hope you get the call you're after!
