Thanks Coupon Mad I will check when I get home. I'm visiting my daughters this weekend. I am worried now, if i kissed the deadline does it mean I lose my right to defend myself or will the court be able to use what I've already submitted?

Have they sent you a WS and evidence yet?  That signals the deadline.

No I haven't received anything since the middle of Jan when I wrote to disagree with case being heard by papers and the court replied saying it will be heard by telephone conference.

Your WS deadline is imminent , probably on the back of the court order , most people miss it , because they focus on the date etc ( they don't read it in its entirety , front and back )

Check it on Monday if back home , but assume 2 weeks before , so maybe another week ?

Your defence and N180 were the end of the first half , the second half kicks off soon , don't be a goal down !! 😁😁

You have stopped partway through the 12 numbered steps in the defence template post

  • Hi everyone, good news (I think)!..
I have just returned home and found a letter from DCB Legal saying "Our client has instructed us to discontinue Court proceedings and close our file...." they say they notified the court (I checked it has the correct case number) and also enclosed a N279 for my records.
I'm guessing that is the end of it????

    It should be

We would check with the court that the claim has been discontinued and the hearing vacated , just in case !!

Well done , dcb legal and PDG lose again ( awful person )

  • THANK YOU EVERYONE!....
My special thanks to everyone who helped me here, I simply had no chance dealing with this, especially after the hard times my partner and I had during the last couple of years. If it wasn't for this forum and your help and advice I'd be totally stressed out and out of pocket.
I am grateful to you all.
    Kindest regards
