I have done some cleaning for a friend for an hour, and in exchange used her washing machine for my second load (my WM is living on borrowed time at present). Both loads done today are now fluttering on the line.
I have checked and our electricity consumption was exactly the same to the KW as last month. Really must try to get it at least a quarter lower in October.

Happy birthday day to Pigpen's DS1.Daily stuff doneSpent the early morning to about 11am outside, potting on stuff, splitting other stuff, and generally pottering about, it is sunny but the wind has got up now.OH has gone to get a blood test done, he should have booked it when I reminded him last week, but he is 'starting to know best' so cycle 4 is on hold till results of blood test, which maybe this afternoon, they cannot issue tablets unless they understand where his blood is now, ..............................Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Hope you've all seen the advice to screenshot utility bills and account balances in case your supplier goes under.
Car gone in; planning done for RE and sent to jobshare for it is she that shall teach the first lesson (oh I am so going to put that on the planning format actually...*giggles at own joke* thus - 'Here endeth the 6th lesson'.)
Now I need to hit the squalor...
ETA All the ironing pile - including the washing pegged out today - has been dealt with.
Last year I posted that I was listening to all my CDs - and culling ones I no longer wanted. I've just played the first-ever Deacon Blue CD I bought - on the recommendation of my late sister. The one next to it (I started at then end of the alphabet), to which I am now listening, is one I bought on my first holiday abroad, in El Corte Ingles, in Las Palmas (I think) on Gran Canaria. My first holiday abroad was with her. Happy memories.
(As I'm an avid R2 listener it is taking a while to get through them all)

Valli said:Hope you've all seen the advice to screenshot utility bills and account balances in case your supplier goes under.Ta for the reminder. I've suggested Belovéd might do this as it's his balliwick. Our supplier has said they're going to refund us our credit balance. I'm not holding my breath.Shopping done, Layla taken to the vet for post-op check up which she passed with flying colours and I have been shown how to do her teeth which shamefully I've never actually done before. She's such a good little dog; she was obviously quite worried by what was being done but stood stock still while the vet nurse demonstrated it. All my dogs have had rotten teeth when I've adopted them and most have had to have a GA and multiple extractions so I'd like this one not to have to go through that again.Belovéd has finished the vacuuming and I'm about to have a shower and then clean the shower room before embarking on a bit of a marathon cooking session. I just need to catch my breath a bit first.

Pigpen the lady who runs the club is really scary, she asks if everyone has a pump, spare inner tube, and fully charged lights as soon as you arrive. If you forget something its like being 8 years old and realising that you havent got your shorts for P.E. at school
I have spent £16 on a new light and will make sure I dont lose this one.
Paid stuff done, DH has anti-inflammatories which seem to be helping. House is freezing so I am wrapped up in a ridiculous amount of layers. Refusing to put the heating on so the heated blanket is coming out.
I am now going to work out my electricity usage for the month. I am becoming a bit obsessed about the electricity. Oh and we have a man coming to see if he can fix our woodburning stove and leaky chimney. It may cost too much to do straight away but we will see.

YL.. I'd tell her to get on her bike.. surely only one person needs a pump and inner tube?! unless someone has one of those stupid folding bikes with 4 inch wheels.. looks like a scooter with a seat on! I rather want to come now.. I don't even have a bike! (guess who NEVER had their PE kit!)

Busy, draining day but lots achieved. It’s really cold here tonight so we are all in bed with hot water bottles. I have a cuppa and a new library book to keep me company xx

Well I have cleaned my kitchen and bathroom, towels in WM ready to go; DW also on the blocks. Car passed MoT test - even the tyres passed (though they were advisory); given the uneven wear, and the fact that winter is approaching I had asked for new ones anyway. I had checked with the super cheapy tyre place, and I have two new front tyres.
black (household waste) bin out, bin bag dance done. Still not full...

Morning all,
Wet and grey day here, set it for the day I think. DS is going to a birthday party after school so I won't see him until around 6.30pm.
The DW is doing its thing, and we are all fed. Sides wiped down too. I have yet more admin type stuff to do today, all part of streamlining life and getting organised so it'll be worth it in the end. Easy pasta dinner tonight.
Take care all xx8 -
Rainy here too, ASB, and I'll be having pasta.
DW x 1, WM x 1 and, for the first time in months, TD x 1. All on cheap leccy though...
I need to plan for tomorrow and do some cleaning.
Mouse came out of hiding last night, luckily patio door was still open and it managed to escape, seen by me but not by Poppy!
Need to pop into town later.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
