Morning all. I missed the jammy dodgers
but instead I had a reasonable night's sleep, which is probably worth more and definitely better for my waistline
Glad you slept better too, Fayolle x
So far this morning I have cleaned all through downstairs and hung out yesterday's 2 loads of washing, with another one swirling in the WM. I said to DH last week that he should check all the clothes he was planning to wear tomorrow to his cousin's funeral ("No black, please"), but of course he didn'tI had hoped to get away with not using the TD this week...
I still have a lot of paperwork to get through this morning, so I won't hang around now. (((Hugs))) all round xx and I'll see you later.8 -
Squeak on her book club class.. (english lit by any other name!)
Best go find clothes and dangle out some washing before the sky decides to leak again.
OH can make a cuppa, load the DW and I have asked him to runabout the house dewebbing.. it hurts my neck and back to do it so he will just have to get it done..It is a fun job too, I am sad i might never be able to do it and chase children with a broom full of webs ever again.

Work day for me although my 11 o’clock student id absent so long lunch. Before work
Bed made, clothes picked up
Kitchen tidied round
Thinking about dinner, do I make chicken curry or fish pie. Ingredients for both in the freezer. I should do both and optimize oven use but unlikely after a full day at work. Probably fish as there are leeks to be used too.9 -

Hello all. Hope you're all ok today.
I have done some of the dailies, walked the dogs, walked with DH and attended my art class. Need to call the vet next.
Oh, and if anyone is thinking of buying silicone dish scourers, don't bother. They're pretty useless.Spend less now, work less later.11 -

Thanks for the heads up about silicone dish scourers, Jazee. I find those nasty green scratchy pads are about as good as anything gets, much as I dislike the feel of them.I am still meaning to go downstairs and do the letting rooms and shower room but somehow the day has run away with me again. However, I have at last sorted Kelpie's, Layla's and Devil Cat's out of date drugs ready for taking to a pharmacy for destruction, all the batteries for recycling and tidied my office up so that I can walk in without shedloads of clutter on every single surface. I'm beginning to really enjoy things being tidy and work surfaces relatively clear when I'm working so that was a few hours really well spent.I've also meal planned the next few days with Belovéd as we have foodie friends coming to stay for a long weekend, written the shopping list for it, booked a hair cut at my old hairdressers now that my friend who cut my hair so badly has sold her salon (much cheering and huzzah!), booked yet another blood test for Layla and a recommended comedy guided tour of the city for next Tuesday evening with Belovéd.Now to dust; a bit late in the day but it'll be a bit less to do tomorrow if I do anything at all this evening.Better is good enough.9

Hi all
Better day at work. DH has to ring docs again tomorrow for an urgent appointment, he currently cant bend down. I have lost my rear bike light which is so annoying, I want to cycle with my ladies group on Thursday but cant go without a bike light. Trying to decide if I can justify £16 for a new light.
Our bedding washed and dried outside before it rained. Other than the very basics that is the sum total of my flying today. All fed and DW on, kitchen swished. Still harvesting strawberries from the garden so will enjoy some of those next.
