    I've just received an email from octopus saying my credit refund has been processed and will be in my account within the next 5 days. 

    I'm an ex-customer who'd left before they went bust.

    I was told yesterday that they expect all final Avro bills to be issued out by the end of March at the very latest.

    Five months on and still no bill generated !

    Yes I received the same email today.

    Also in my Octopus account the final bill I received from Avro has appeared under 'Billing History'.

    Got to say well done to Octopus.  Considering the number of customers they have had to deal with I can breath a sigh of relief that this particular SOLR experience is nearly at an end.

    Still waiting for my account like so many to move from Avro. Guess I am one of the 8 to 10% still outstanding from 4 weeks ago on 15th January. Cannot believe that the information page has not been updated. 

    Had another moan on Facebook on Wednesday and submitted a formal complaint about how long its taking and the lack of update. Based on the response something appears to be happening. They think the problem is that my 3 days with Avro has no Electricity charges. Because of that I have provided:

    Final bill from Green.
    Copy of cheque from shell for balance from Green
    Copy of so called Final bill from Avro.
    Screenshot of Avro balance 1 month later.

    With all of this and my readings from 01 Nov with Octopus, they can workout what to bill me for. 

    Hopefully by the middle of next week I should be moved over. The wife thinks that we have more chance of Boreham Wood winning the FA Cup and that has odds of 500/1

    That's an almost identical situation to mine, except I was with Avro for 6 days after leaving green (also with no electricity charges). I have an account with Octopus but they haven't moved my balance from Avro or issued any bills.

    When did you get your cheque from Shell Energy, still waiting for mine?

    I got my cheque from Shell 29th December. Contacted shell via messenger around 14 December and sent them a Screenshot of my final bill from Green. They said I would have the credit in 2 weeks by cheque and I did.

  • I agree it's taking far too long, Octopus should give a weekly update of exactly how many accounts are waiting to be transferred so we can get an idea of how fast the backlog is getting cleared.

    I tweeted Shell yesterday and they messaged back today asking for my details. Apparently I should get a cheque "by the end of February".

    I didn't ask for a cheque, I think that's the only option they give you.

    I see Octopus are trying to refund credit balances for Avro customers direct to their bank account, preferable I think.
