If you were a resident a judge is unlikely to believe you went round all the signs trying to read them before you parked. Honesty is usually best policy. Read what the tenancy / lease said in terms of parking and permits. If it does not mention parking or require a permit to be displayed then it is immaterial what the PPC put on their signs. Review other residential cases and use the fact you were a resident with rights to your advantage.4

Afternoon all,
I won! They discontinued the case…An email came through this morning with the following:We act for the Claimant in the above matter.
Our client has instructed us to discontinue Court proceedings and close our file. Therefore, please find enclosed the Claimant’s N279 Notice of Discontinuance for your records.
The attached has also been filed with the Court.
We will now proceed to close our file accordingly.
They attached the document which had also been filed with the courts.
Just want to take this opportunity to say thank you everyone, for your support and patience throughout this ordeal.
To anyone who is fortunate enough to read this, either starting out in the process or at Witness Statement / Evidence stage, I implore to continue fighting the good fight - please. It will get stressful at times, but when these companies become a thing of the past, it’ll be worth every second and penny to those in less fortunate circumstances.
Thank you again and have a lovely day,
IMT
P.S. I won’t be leaving just yet…7 -
