DCB Legal & UKPC - Remnant PCN

My apologies!
You folks are absolutely right, I completely forgot about weekend closures!
Will send it either today / Monday depending when I’ve got some spare time.
Thanks again,

Afternoon all,
Just a small update…
DCB Legal & UKPC have decided via email after reviewing the content of my defence, that they wish to proceed with the claim.
Now, just a matter of filing a DQ with the court (using the template from the sticky), which I’ll be awaiting.
They’ve also attached evidence they hold on file, which is essentially taken from the SAR, but they’ve also included pictures of the signs (one taken at the time of contravention, others taken more recently).
Looking back at my defence, should I have included anything around how UKPC tried taking me to court for the multiple notices around the same time, and how this was a remnant? Or is this a non-issue, but maybe still worth mentioning at some point? (If so, when?)
Anything I should be aware of at this stage?
Thanks,
IMT

You can cover that at WS stage. Hopefully you didn't miss the god news this month?
Happy reading, get up to speed with the new Code of Practice from the DLUHC.

That thread explains why it matters even to existing cases and it's not even in the Template Defence yet because it's so new but can be added to the witness statement later.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks so much CM, and welcome back!

Hi all,
My DQ hasn’t yet been received from checkin MCOL…slightly worried
Any contingencies I need to so to make sure its noted I have sent it off? I have the Proof of Postage if its of any help.
Thanks in advance,
IMT0 -
Why did you not send it by e-mail as per the instructions in the NEWBIE sticky?2
-
Thanks for responding Le_Kirk.
Apologies but the NEWBIE sticky had no mention of sending the DQ via email - unless I am mistaken in which case I’ll hold my hands up and apologise.
Now that I’m aware of this, I’ll be doing so and sending to the CCBCAQ email address.
Thanks,
IMT0
