I am pleased that the DDs worked for longer than we expected as it allowed me to meet this month's Co-Op account conditions as I called a succession of payments. Only making 2p/debit card spend but better than nothing on small payments. The regular monthly DD collection from Lloyds also enabled interest to accrue on that account till other DD kicks in next month.

Having said that, a weekly direct debit that goes out on a Tuesday was taken this morning!I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0

It was St Patrick's day last week on Thursday. BOI would have initiated Monday's direct debit on Friday (instead of Thursday); so would have been taken on Tuesday. Always happens with BOI/Post Office when NI bank holidays do not coincide with English Bank Holidays.

@ surreysaver & Descrabled
Thanks for posting. My Monday DD went out today. I’m glad I didn’t close my PO account even though the reward generated is now peanuts. Peanuts are better than nothing😊2 -
Same here, the ones scheduled to go out yesterday, went out today0
