Oh Blackcats you did make me chuckle!!!! I love the idea of the virtual housewarming and weeing on the floor in protest!!! Sorry you had a rubbish couple of days. I think your approach is probably a sensible one and one I should try to adopt!!!
HR don't think me asking to change my social budget to a different team is a good idea so am going to see how the next 6 months pan out.
Yesterday was a LSD rather than NSD as we needed milk which DH got so not sure how much that was. Also 88.50 in dentist for check up and xrays but luckily they are covered on my dental policy which work pay for and have already claimed back.
Hoping we are doing our equivalent of exchange today - if so, it will definitely not be a NSD as I will be getting us something nice for tea (plus we need loo roll!) to celebrate.
Going to take DC to park or MIL this morning, just to get out the flat. But I find it so hard given it's 22 metal and 5 normal steps plus decking and a corridor to actually get in and out and DC2 is now 15 months and so heavy. Sometimes it's easier just to stay in2 -
Visions of you celebrating with loo roll now 🤭 imagining you running over the house trailing loo roll like those ribbon dancers 😂Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

Gah, still don't know of we have done the equivalent of exchange yet! Have chased the lawyers and the agent. I should be stick thin from all the stress but I've gone the other way!2

So no celebratory meal tonight(!). Our vendors have done what they need to do, but the people they are buying from need to do what they need to do - we hope that is going to be tomorrow. So no special meal tonight (or loo roll!) as we do not want to jinx it after last time when we opened a bottle of champers when our offer was accepted! So not again!
Has therefore been a NSD as went to MIL's so free (apart from a small amount of petrol to drive there).
Tonight will therefore be rather boring spicy beanburgers with grated cheese on top and waffles. We don't even have any pudding! Well, a bit of chocolate, but that's it.1 -
I don't wonder you are stressed
