Peoples Energy Cease To Trade

My payment to PE was due on the 21 Sept, this was not taken. The next day, I had a email from PE to say my DD had been cancelled by them!
So as of today, my credit has run out so I will owe money.
Don't understand why they cancelled DD?
I can still log on to my account with PE.
Tomorrow, I am due to transfer over to Sainsbury's, will it happen, watch this space.

Nothing from PE from the day they went under, I owe them about a fiver so not worried.

My switch to Sainsbury’s went well, so glad I jumped early and got a good 2-year fix.

Hope you get your money back soon.

Nothing for me either, I am owed about £75.00.  The information from British Gas was that it would take a couple of months to transfer the PE credits, so I'm rather hoping it will be soon.

got a final bill just before christmas but yet to see the credit reflected on BG (can't actually see where it would show apart from in a bill when generated)
final bill is also perhaps not quite as expected based on my calculations in several ways but in my favour so not complaining

It looks like BG is not yet getting all the info they need from PE.  My first bill from BG had an opening read date of 28 October (electricity) and 29 October (gas).  My final bill from PE had a closing meter read on 19 September (which superseded an earlier bill with a later read date).  In due course we should get a bill from BG from 19 September, i.e. backdated to the date BG was appointed as SOLR.  When we do, we will need a revised "final bill" from PE matching BG's opening readings.  At the moment my "final" PE bill shows a gas meter reading on 19 September which is way more than BG's opening read on 29 October.  PE could not read my smart meter, and their reading is obviously incorrect (and I have told them so).

Nothing for me either.  I moved house in November so switched away from BG. I'm hoping that means I won't miss out on what I'm owed from PE.

I just got a final bill from PE. Hopefully this means things are moving and BG will be issuing refunds.

I had an email advising my final bill had been created and to click the link to see my statement.  Unfortunately when I logged on and clicked the link my bill wasn’t online.  Anyone else had this please where they can’t access their final bills? The CS phone number appears to be disconnected too.

You have to click on the right handside menu options and select view bills. Your bill will then be in there. Received my bill a couple of weeks ago but waiting for them to contact me to take payment. 

Has anyone been contacted to make payment yet?
