Just checked mine too, and EDF has appeared. That's happened in the last 24 hours. EDF would have to have a reason to object to the transfer, and with a credit balance there would be no reason - a debit balance might be different, though.Inigo_Montoya said:
Just checked the supplier database again & its now showing EDF as my supplierDoc_N said:
I've done the same (to BG Evolve on the Lidl deal) but I'm leaving the DD in place just in case. I doubt it'll be actioned, but if it is it can be claimed back from the bank.
Just hoping that will not interfere with the requested move to BG Evolve as I've read on this forum that apparently whichever supplier starts the transfer process first blocks the later transfer attempt
Im not sure if EDF appearing in the supplier database means the transfer process has started but it would seem logical that it does mean that0 -
The database says EDF for me too. I had a look at comparison sites to find something cheaper but nothing doing. Scary to think that this is the cheapest. It's going to cost a fortune.

Same for me EDF now shown. My dd is due on the 1 October so it may be EDF claiming monies rather than UP.
I was already to change to Daligas a few days ago and their rate was about 3.27 KW. Checked today and now they are showing a rate of 7.50kw. Sorry if I seem a doom monger but I cannot see them lasting that much longer when the so called big 6 are a lot cheaper.0 -
I just looked at outfox the market. They are offering me 7.762 for gas with a daily standing charge of 27.3. The big six are similar for new customers.CRISPIANNE3 said:Same for me EDF now shown. My dd is due on the 1 October so it may be EDF claiming monies rather than UP.

For me then EDF are the cheapest. Fortunately we now have installed log burners and have enough fuel to last us through the so called long hard Winter.t0rt0ise said:

Electricity
Product Name The Green One v4 Product Type Fixed Product End Date 09 Oct 2022 Rate Any Time 20.0067p per kWh Standing Charge 26.9514p per day Gas
Product Name The Green One v4 Product Type Fixed Product End Date 09 Oct 2022 Rate Unit rate 4.20315p per kWh Standing Charge 23.70795p per day
for me this is about £95/month similar to what EDF variable tariff would be but as has been stated by others EDF's tariff will be going up in october and probably more in the future. It also is far cheaper than any other offer I can get especially fixed atm. Unfortunately this tariff isnt an option on MSE cheap energy club so if its not added Ill have to do my own comparisons for a while.
I hope this can save some people some money as i doubt this offer will be available for long.
6.937p per kWh in East mids!
Ill keep looking0 -
These were the Lidl/BG East Midlands rates on 22 September when I switched from Utility Point. They’ve obviously increased them substantially since then.NorthantsPete81 said:Spear_UK said:Id like to make people aware of what I have decided to do and a deal that I have found. for those of you who are lidl plus customers they are offering a £50 voucher for lidl and an exclusive fixed tariff with no exit fees with British gas evolve. the tariff offer is as followsElectricity

Should be OK. Database showing EDF, so already gone from UP, and BG should be able just to pick it up from there. You and I obviously jumped the gun and ignored the warnings in order to grab a disappearing deal, but those warnings were more for the benefit of the energy suppliers than their customers, and I’m surprised Martin Lewis went along with it.Inigo_Montoya said:

It might take slightly longer than normal for the transfer, but no reason to suppose it won’t happen.1
