However, what is far more interesting is that so far, nobody has reported being paid today! If the customer has already met the requirements, why delay paying the bonus? As long as they check again after the 60 day deadline in cases where the requirements haven't been met yet, I see no mistake. It's not a mistake nor is it early - the funds were owed once you met the criteria; they just have up to 60 day limit to pay it
'We will assess the Qualifying Account 60 days after the switch has been instructed to decide whether you have qualified for the Switcher Offer and the Cashback Payment under these Terms. If you qualify, we will make the Cashback Payment to you within the next 30 days following our decision.'0 -

The remainder is simply time for bank fulfilment of the offer.Anyway, got a notification that my £130 has been deposited today1 -

Got an email this morning telling me to double check I'd met all the criteria - logged in to check as I was very sure I'd met all the criteria and low and behold I've been paid. Very smooth and efficient. Account is all set up to switch away somewhere else for the next offerEDIT:And for what it's worth - I'd previously acted as a referrer for the previous Amazon bonanza, but didn't switch an account to Santander

I switched my ‘main’ account from Santander 123 to Virgin Money earlier this year, but this £130 offer is certainly making me think hard about going back to Santander. At the same time as I switched to Virgin, I opened a Santander ‘basic’ current account with a few hundred £ in to keep a local option, as I have a branch nearby. But I’m a bit unsure as to whether I meet the criteria to go back, as I have that Santander current account (the DD’s and monthly pay in amount criteria are not a problem)
