Santander £130 switch offer

Got my £130 this am 😊.  Opened account and requested switch on 13/9.  Completed on 11/10.   I transferred 2 direct debits across but didn’t set up new ones.  One of the  direct debits is a yearly one that hasn’t paid out on Santander yet  but obviously classed as active 😊.

Still waiting for mine account opened 17th September & switch started on the 18th

I set up my Santander account to be my linked account for post office saver and transferred £500 out but some reason post office made it into £500 DD which failed, 

hopefully that won’t cost me the £130 as fixed it & changed it to £1 dd

As previously posted received my £130 on Monday. Just received email informing me "Your nearly there....". Happen I'll receive more!!

£130 received now. Must be being processed over a number of days.

Actually there is, everyone who was paid yesterday (with one exception) initiated their switch w/c 13/9. That one exception was only a day later in initiating on 20/9.

However, what is far more interesting is that so far, nobody has reported being paid today!

Even more interesting is that, even if you initiated the switch on the 13th September, the 60 day assessment point isn't reached until 12th November so it looks like someone at Santander has jumped the gun.

yeh I was thinking this earlier, maybe they've paid out too early to some people by mistake

If the customer has already met the requirements, why delay paying the bonus? 

As long as they check again after the 60 day deadline in cases where the requirements haven't been met yet, I see no mistake.

in that case more people would have already been paid out than we have heard from

Quite possibly there will have been far more, simply because not everyone who has switched will be on these forums! 

of course, but the fact people were paid out earlier than the Ts and Cs suggested they would coupled with the fact only a handful of people on this thread been paid out with at least 1 paid out with a later initiation date than me it does seem to suggest maybe they have paid out too early by mistake, anyway fact remains, ive still not been paid out!

Don't see why it would be a mistake on Santander's part. I think it's far more likely they're just making an early start on processing the bonuses. Not everyone will have been paid yet simply because they're still working through the list.

I think it's more about when the account was opened and when the switch was initated rather than completed, can you share those dates?

Just received my £130 today with another for my wife. They were both opened on 15th Sep and switch completed 22nd September.  Off to Halifax now then on to Nationwide.

Applied 13th Sept, ac opened 15th Sept, switched 23rd Sept.  More than £1k switched and another £1k+ transferred in.  DDs ok.  No bonus yet.

Received £130 today, Switch started 13/9, competed 21/9, DDs x2 were set up after switch.
