But...switching team answering phone could not see if I had previously received an incentive, and suggested I check myself!. However, they can see one of my accounts was opened within the Amazon offer window. 60 day checking will be carried out by back office staff, who have access to emails sent regarding the Amazon vouchers. I changed my email address shortly after the Amazon offer ended, so i couldn't check whether I'd received one.
I figured I'd nothing to lose (I have a dozen or more spare accounts) so have switched into both my Santander accounts, with Co-op (DDs switched) going to my Everyday account and a spare TSB (DDs not required) going to 123 Lite.
Really is a case of heads I win, tails I can't lose.0 -
I have just switched 3 accounts over to Santander, 1 for me 1 for my wife and one joint. I am sure that I chose the Joint as a 123 Lite and the other two as Everyday accounts.
All 3 accounts have come through as 123 Lite which means a £2 fee for each.
Does anyone have an opinion as to whether changing two of them over to Everyday accounts will effect the £130 switch offer.
Thanks for any advice.0 -

If you want to be certain, get an answer from Santander. Try chat to save a boring wait on the phone?

Has anyone set up a completely new donor basic current account with say Halifax, Lloyds, Nationwide etc and then initiated a switch over to Santnader for the sole purpose of the switch bonus after a few days after opening? That is there'll be no transactions at all on the donor account? The way I read it is that you don't need to transfer over any DDs, but have them setup on your new Santander CA?0

Yes. I don't know the outcome yet as I only opened the "target" account yesterday.
The donor account has no dds on it but, for appearances sake, I have put a tenner in there and set up a payee on the account.
Judging from the comments on here, I doubt though whether all that is strictly necessary.
