Weekly Flylady Thread 13th September 2021

Me again.  Dailies done, one wash load on line, lots of admin done and I harvested in the garden.  And that, my fly lady friends is pretty much it for me today.  I've decided to sit out in the sunny garden while we still have warm days, and read a new to me book.

Dry washing brought in and folded. A bowl of pots WULTD. Several tins now soaking ready to be recycled.

Whinge out the way first.. My knee and hips hurt.. my back hurts, my neck hurts and I feel like I have low blood sugar but I have not. ok.. done..

SIL left a rather derogatory remark to a nice friend on OH fb post about Dots birthday.. I'd delete it tbh

Musical theatre class done.. Squeak joined in and really enjoyed it this week.. no tears and spoke to  another girl!!
Swimming done.. Dot was finding it difficult to focus but did ok.. Twinkle refused to put her shoes on so got carried to the car..

Shoes purchased for Pixie since the sole fell off hers..

OH at work later.. he has Monday off and is working closes for the next 8 days.. so he will see the girsl for 5 minutes before school and no more for the next 8 days.. so much for this co-parenting lark! I am not happy.. they also rota'd him on for the day he is unavailable because we have the next part of Dots assessment. They missed him off the rota for a whole week and then put him on every day.. it's ridiculous!!

Next round of madness in here..
WM with swimming stuff needs to go on.

Productive day:
2 loads of washing done and dried outside. DD’s mattress turned and vacuumed. Her room thoroughly vacuumed and dusted, rest of upstairs and the stairs made do with just the vacuum cleaner being whizzed round. Just need to finish remaking her bed now and it is all fresh and clean in there.
Cabbage frame built at the allotment. 4 bags of produce, including a big bunch of dahlias, brought back. All stashed in the fridge until I summon up the energy to chop / cook / freeze / pickle as appropriate. Need to write a meal plan to make sure we use what we can while it is fresh. 

Milkman order changed to stop the delivery of oat milk now that DD no longer here to drink it.

Well done, Squeak, for joining in at the musical theatre class.

Kitchen and bathroom both cleaned.  Shower screen is stuck again.  I have jetted limescale remover, bathroom cleaner and WD40 down the hinge.  To no avail..

Morning all

Wide awake at 6.15am, so thought I might as well get up.  I have a few bits of household admin to do, then need to get things packed ready for a few days away tomorrow, and take the dog to my parents.

Don't feel very lively at the moment, and its grey and dull here.

Littleydog is limping today so I only took Poppet for a walk.  Have done some dailies, hoovered through and s&sd the bathroom.

DS has a match this morning, which is away, thankfully a kind friend has offered us a lift as it's just too far in a taxi. The kids had fresh bedding on last night, so upstairs smells lovely. In line with trying to reduce our energy consumption I am resisting doing a wash today, small steps but needs must. 

Roast dinner today using leftover meat from a few weeks ago that had been frozen, so it's really just the accompaniments I need to make. xxx
