Morning all,
I slept heavily and really didn't want to get up!
I am glad Mr Iona is home, and that Narco's mummy is making progress. Love to you both xx
So far this morning I have decluttered a frog, returned something to the PO, done x1 WM which is now on the line, tidied the fridge out and dispatched the small people to school. Oh, and delivered some eggs. I am now going to have my promised lazy day, well at least until 3pm. Starting with a cuppa, cake and a candle lit. Simple pasta dish for tea for us all.
Take care friends xx9 -

Great news for Mr Iona and Mama Narco.. I hope both continue to improve xxDS1 is reportedly calmer than yesterday so we will see where that does.
My hip is still incredibly painful so that is medicated.
I need to shuffle money about to cover my Amazon subscriptions.. cat food, loo roll etc is so much cheaper! I buy in bulk as it is but subscription takes an additional 15% off.
Squeak just finishing off her maths and she has some book to be reading. She has another class at 6pm and we are supposed to be encouraging baking this afternoon.. which I can't do because it is too painful to stand so OH or Boog can do it with her.. I think we have ingredients for most things she would want to make.. though I am tempted to have them do dinner!
OH took away 3 bits of dirty (black) washing and left the rest in a pile in the middle of the living room because it was for a different load (whites) ... I have 2 WM's and do one colour in each.. why the heck did he not take it all? There is also a basket in there he could put it in if the machines were in use.. Why is he such a man about these things? Is it really that hard? I am losing all patience with being expected to do everything.. I am in too much pain to deal with it.
We have a bed to build today.. we need Meem to get out of bed first so we can dismantle the bedroom.
I need to find the stuff to wallpaper DS2's room so we can remove his stuff from the middle room, we need a tip run to dispose of the dead mattress from DS1's bed and I have a bunch of stuff to drop at CS.. and 1 item to package up and post.
Squeak having lunch and being shoved int he shower...I need to ring drs for appointments for Moomin and maybe me too and dentist for moomin.. and i need to drop stuff at my mothers.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)9 -
Nap decluttered, school run done. The temperature has risen throughout the day so the washing has dried nicely. Friend is coming to cut the grass for me tomorrow in exchange for a potion of HM chilli xx

(((Hugs))) to ASB, YL, Valli, and welcome home Mr Ionafan.I've been struggling with getting to grips with no longer being able to hide from my high cholesterol, higher than ideal blood pressure by a bit of a worrying margin, and being flabby around the middle. I've been spending more time researching how to deal with all of that, ie the best way to spring clean my body, rather than scrubbing loos or trying to spring clean any of the areas around the house. I am on an urgent and thorough slinky plan of my own devising and I'm delighted to say that it's suiting me very well indeed. My biggest challenge isn't giving up sugar or animal fat after all - it's cutting out all table salt, which I started doing last night. It'll take a bit of getting used to but needs must, and while I've got the bit between the teeth I may just as well carry on dealing with these problems. Avocado without salt on toast for lunch today, saltless. Tasted quite, quite different but edible.I have scrubbed a loo, so therefore some flying has taken place but I need to do some more. The hob's a bit of a mess where the healthy lodger fries everything at massively high temperatures. *spit* *splutter* *spit*Update on Previous RantThe Unclean One is still with us, hasn't taken her second PCR test but has stayed confined to her room, the shower room and outside in the yard to vape. I think I managed to encourage her enough to stop smoking by being very gentle with a conversation about it a couple of weeks ago, so I'm really pleased with that and it just goes to show that even under trying circumstances the most difficult of people can actually impress me. I've loaded her with library books, food trays three times a day, and two of her own visitors have loaded her with care packages. I rather think she's holding on to the PCR test so that she can keep testing with lateral flow tests until she gets a clear one so that she can then confirm it with a clear PCR one and possibly try to escape confinement early. Either way, she's due to leave on Sunday, her tenth day in lockdown when she'd legally be able to leave and as her parents delivered her here in the first place from Bournemouth where they hail from, and as her mother has had to shield all the way through they won't be too keen on loading her and her monstrous suitcase in to the car until then anyway. We are NEVER taking anyone again who is manipulative over the phone when looking for accommodation no matter how compelling the story is.Bathroom.

Well...
Not long after I posted mum rang; she was off to see my sister and did I want to go - sister lives about an hour away (if mum drives) or 45 minutes (if I drive). Well I really had lots to do but I thought what the... and went.
But I've arrived home with a request to go into work tomorrow - and my house is a tip and I promised to bake a banana loaf... aarghhhDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I've just broken myself at my first gymnastics class in 35 years. I feel sick. Getting fit and slinky is not much fun.
Usual flying done and now I'm huddled on the sofa waiting for the nausea to subside.10 -
Here, Dizzy, a sick bowl just in case, a bucket-full of admiration from me for getting stuck into it. Well done.

Morning all,
Slightly later than normal check in from me, how is everyone today?
So far this morning - school run done, x1 WM on the line, some admin done, some texts sent and a handful of junk flung. I am gearing myself up to do the deed....
I am really pleased with myself - I have done a meal plan up to and including month end, and done a land of Ice shop which is being delivered tomorrow to cover this. I will need fresh F&V but my fridge and freezer will look much better. If anyone shops at Icey-land, there is a £3 off voucher if you have £3 worth of F&V (be in fresh or frozen) in your trolley - ICEFREEVEG.
I am going to have a late brekkie of a freshly laid egg on toast washed down with a cuppa. Will pop back in later xx10 -
Morning all,
Well done, and good luck to doing the deed, ASB. We are all rooting for you xx
A fairly productive morning here, yet again though I have probably peaked for the day.
Bedding changed and nearly finished in the wm, dw emptied and running on a clean cycle. I used to be badgered by the lists to do this regularly but the combination of my ability to ignore the kitchen day lists plus DH wfh all the time now, meant that I never got an empty dw AND motivation in the same room at the same time. Today the deed is being done.
Baby caterpillars picked off my spring cabbage babies which are waiting to go under netting at the allotment - thank you cabbage white butterfly 😡.
Now to tackle a pile of runners as I made a sliver of space in the freezer last night to squeeze them in to.
I hope all poorlies are feeling better, especially Mr Ionafan and Narc0’s mum.10
