Have a lovely day Jazee.Thank you for the lists Natty and Valli.Let's hope the week brings a bit of sparkle and joy to a lot of people because everyone deserves it. I was very uplifted by the joy and exhuberance Emma Radakanu shared after her wins in New York. It's a long time since I've seen that kind of happiness and it was a lovely reminder that people can surprise themselves with their own achievements.I intend to do some Flying this week because although we appear to be in a routine where things are much tidier generally all over the house, the dusting, the kitchen, the bathroom and the shower room have all fallen by the wayside a bit. We've got our old neighbours coming to stay in a couple of weeks time for three nights and I'd be really embarrassed if the house weren't tickety boo by then. I've washed their old sofa's covers and covered it up with a fleece so that won't totally disgrace us - it's the sofa all the animals drape themselves over so it's always covered in cat and dog hair and muddy paw marks.Better is good enough.9

Good morning all,
Thank you for the lists. I’ll try to be in as much as possible - I have the week off work, so less excuses and more doing is in order. The week is primarily to do whatever DD needs / spend time with her before she leaves on Friday. Today’s agenda (her agenda, mine would of course be flying…) is a trip to the big city for a rummage in the huge bookshop and maybe a spot of lunch. Trying to keep a calm head about driving there, especially as it is a park and ride, and dealing with / avoiding people.Towels are in the wm, it’s another dull day but not raining, so may hang them outside as DH will be here, still wfh.
Have a lovely day all. Hugs to all poorlies / poorly OHs x9 -
Morning all
Thanks Valli x
Feeling dreadful, I am sure it's just a cold but going to do a Covid test in a minute just to be sure. Still in PJs but have made four small shepherds pies, hung a load of washing out and put another in load in. I am supposed to be at the paid stuff 12noon till 8pm and really need to be there, I have so much to do and it's my last week before my hols.
Next load of washing is ready to go out. Might get a shower and get dressed when that is done and see if I feel any more lively.8 -
Big hugs to all who are having challenging times.
HHI (basket empty)
Bathroom floor mopped, Iwas going to leave it but forced myself and it only took 5 mins to hoover and mop.
Whilst putting washing away I pulled out a few bits to go in 'textiles' bag to go to recycling/CS
Spending spreadsheet updated.
Coffee and then back to something, anything, I'm on a dot to dot mission

What a horrible shock Round... sending love and hugs.. be kind to yourself today xx Such a horrible disease. Yesterday my first 4 FB posts were; a friends child heading off to a school for an opportunity of a lifetime, a home education journey starting, a new start at a special school and a celebration of life, another beautiful angel lost to cancer (DIPG which is incurable and destroys body function while leaving full cognition and almost always affects children).. all those children are the same age as Squeak.. I had everything from elation to devastation before I even got out of bed and my heart didn't know which way up it was.. Cancer is a disgusting, evil illness.
I'm up to sorting parcels.. I may need OH to come help shift some boxes my wrist doesn't like them.

It feels very cold here, I have lit the fire. I am struggling to keep my eyes open today so may just have to have a nap.
I have dragged the general rubbish bin out - very heavy, my decluttering efforts are actually starting to show!
Round - I am so sorry to hear that. It really is okay not to be okay xxx

Hugs round x
I have flown in between the paid stuff…
2 x wm run, 1 on line and towels in the td
dishwasher emptied
bathroom and en suite swished over

sorted out my pjs drawer, 1 x winter pair into the rag bag, I know now what I have for the winter and I don’t need more!
I always amaze myself with what I can accomplish in 15 minute bursts, flying definitely works!
