Morning all,
It's another bright, sunny morning here. The children are playing a game, and the chickens have been fed. No great plans today other than a walk into the village to get some fresh air. Both children are full of the usual back to school cold as well. We have a bag of bits to deposit at the CS, so will get that done too. I am going to slurp this cuppa and then strip their beds.
Have lovely days all xx7 -
Morning my lovelies xx
Get well soon to all the poorly people xx
Hugs to all xx
My house looks like a 'before Aggie and Kim arrive' advert at the moment. But I'm not beating myself up- it took a couple of days to find my balance after Monday's shock. (I'm definitely a Weeble....are they still a thing?) Then work took all my energy as usual, but now it's the weekend woot woot.
I've made my bed and savoured my first brew.
Round 1
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
Brew 2 and breakfast
Take care
Rxx

Morning all,
Hugs to all x Thank you all for the hugs received yesterday. I had a little cry in DD’s room last night with her big bear who stayed behind “to keep me company”.
I spend so much time in the WAC, I’m thinking that it needs adding to the lists so that I always get to ticking something off 😉.
It’s a real autumn morning - low sun, lots of cobwebs (unfortunately inside as well as out), misty. I need to strip DD’s bedding and get that washed and hung outside. DH is making allotment noises, so it looks like that will be my morning sorted, seeing as I no longer have the excuse of ferrying DD to and from work.NDNs have invited us round for a takeaway this evening, suspecting that we might be feeling the silence, which will be a rare evening out.
Following Round’s example, round 1 is:
Finish cuppa 1 and slice of toast
strip bed, set wm running
get dressed
sneak in cuppa 2
Back later to update x9 -
@Fayolle forgive me honey, too bleary eyed to focus my brain properly. Sending you all the love xxxx9

Morning all
hugs Fayolle and ASB. Have you a union rep?
going out with friends later despite house being in a tip. S'pose I should get up.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear8 -
Round 1 completed, except for breakfast as I'm not hungry. I've also taken clean clothes off the airer and folded it to take upstairs, put away the airer, put bleach and soap on the stairs to take up to the bathroom, brought the laundry hamper down, sorted washing into loads and set first load swishing. While the kettle was boiling I rinsed the rest of the drinks cans - so they can be recycled now.
Judging by the noises coming from the back yard it's rained men again.... I suspect they're taking down the scaffolding now that next door have their new roof on.
Round 2
Take clothes etc upstairs
WUDUPA a bowl of pots
Put milk away & recycle box
Tear up & recycle cola box
Put window cleaner's money in an envelope
Then coffee methinks. And I might be hungry by then 🤔

Round 1 done. Plus watered houseplant, threw out dead dahlias, checked kale and cabbage babies for caterpillars - just one tiny one so hopefully the butterfly can keep off them while we build the frame this morning and then get them under the netting.
Having cuppa 2 whilst waiting for wm to finish so the bedding can be hung outside, packing up allotment stuff then we will go there and build something that Heath Robinson would be proud of. Pretty is not a word anyone would use for my allotment!
ASB - I think you are entitled to take someone with you to the meeting, not necessarily a professional. It might help you to have the moral support as well as their focus. Hugs, honey xx8 -
What a lovely day. Long dog walk done, lots of off lead time for them and fetching their ball. Really friendly with other dogs they met too. Just having breakfast then I must get the dailies out of the way.Spend less now, work less later.9

Morning all
I dont know where this morning has gone. I have done a workout, eaten poached eggs and bacon on toast, but not much else.
Shower next then I am going to launch myself into cleaning mode. DH is at work so it will be just me and the dog probably until mid afternoon. Some admin to do including a look at the new electricity tariff info they have sent me. DH knows someone in the electricity industry and he has said that there are real concerns about the National Grid being able to meet demand this winter. It feels like this country is falling apart.
Anyway, have a good Saturday all, catch you later x8 -
Round 2 completed + two loads of washing pegged out, empty bin bag (not mine) scooped up from under the conifers and binned, bleach sloshed down loo, refilled the bowl with pots and wiped down emerging kitchen worktop.
Still not hungry but I've eaten a banana because I thought I ought to eat something 🙃
5 minutes with my book now
