It could be anything but I would expect whatever it was would be near to any issue. DSs was very soon after having orange juice which at the time seem to happen for quite a lot of children.4

When my DS was wee 'Sunny Delight' was launched & very heavily marketed towards kids. It then transpired it had all these blooming additives which caused all sorts of problems for some of said kids. Oh I remember sunny d. It tasted horrible but one of my sisters used to ask for it. However the other sister had been diagnosed with 'hyperactivity' and was under a specialist somewhere. Mum was told not to give her any E102, E104 and one other I don't remember. These numbers are ingrained into my head because I would help mum search every single thing we picked up in the supermarket afterwards. And if Sis wasn't allowed it neither were any of us. So unfair 😭😂. No sunny d allowed (along with most other treats!)Mortgage Overpayments 2024/25 - September-December, £152.46. J- £103.27, F- £115, M- £91.50, A- £100, M- £200, J- £200. J- £200. I think tiredness played a big part, took Mrs E 5 minutes to get her down! I also blame nursery, a huge amount of change.
Not dismissing helpful musings about "E" numbers but she's been this way all week and no other interesting snacks had!6 -

Thanks @rtandon27 - not as bad as recent nights but still not fabMrs E has taken the girls to an early morning cinema screening of Bluey, so I'm relaxing to the max! I had an early morning trip to the barber and a shop bought coffee, so am feeling a little skint. We are due pocket money again from the 1st of September and I am mulling over transferring us both the money for the rest of the year, as it makes it easier to plan. Worked fairly well when we did it in April, I think Mrs E was particularly in favour of it (possibly as she's not the "money manager")?Prolific is open in the background but mostly settling in for an hour of gaming6

When we had over excitement with DS at and after first nursery and then school, it turned out that the allergy sheet had not been adhered to. He had been given E102 (which is tartrazine; an orange food dye) - it turned out that the reconstituted potato sticks (chips) that they had given to him as a treat, (from Ronald's shop) were cooked in oil with E102 in to make the white sticks look more appetising! He pushed another toddler into the wall.
The school gave him orange and blue smarties - yes, E102 in the orange ones and one of the E131-133s in blue smarties back then. He kicked the teacher in the shin and when she told me, I asked what he had been given. When she told me, I calmly suggested maybe chocolate buttons or a Freddo might be a more suitable treat, if she was not going to read the information about her pupils' intolerances before giving them what is effectively poison, to them. She did have the good grace to blush and apologise
So my point is - if the nursery is giving different food or snacks to DD2 it might well be the cause, hours later with some things. If you send these in, it could be two children's packs being mixed up. It's never deliberate but often the causeSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £10,020.92 out of £6000 after September

I have the same thing with DD (4). When she goes past the point of tiredness she is hyper, but when it wears off a bit later it’s dreadful and she is completely irrational being so tired.2025 decluttering: 5,225 🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅🌟🌟2025 use up challenge: 391🥉🥈🥇💎🏆Big kitchen declutter challenge 132/1502025 decluttering goals I Use up Challenge: 🥉365 🥈750 🥇1,000 💎2,000 🏆 3,000 👑 8,000 I 🥉12 🥈26 🥇52 💎 100 🏆 250 👑 5004

Luckily nursery is incredibly strict when it comes to snacks - you can't even give them a wee bag of crisps or a cereal bar!
Productive day if a little frustrating. Got all the laundry done, ticked off two easy items from month end chores (WM and DW cleaned) and made tasty HM nachos with slow cooker pulled pork, spring onions, grated cheddar, sliced black olives, pickled jalapenos, salsa and sour cream 🤤
Rolled pork shoulder was on offer at Sainsbury's this week. Got a joint that barely fit in the SC for about a tenner. Burritos with more of the same + rice, black beans and pan fried peppers tomorrow and a wee spare box to boot.
Anyway, house cleanish and DD2 off to bed 🤷🏻♂️
Think I'm grumpy as our beer festival is on and we couldn't go as no babysitting cover. Can hear the drunken singing as a sit and type...7
