I'm treating myself to a couple of hours back by having groceries delivered this week. We're fairly well stocked already, so it's below £100, even with various nice products and snacks. Delivery was only £1, which seems pretty good for 2 day's notice 👍🏻 Used my Sainsbury's credit card for a few extra Nectar points.
Managed to knock half off the price of screen protectors for my new phone by tweaking big river search terms a little.
Saw an intriguing writing critique AI study for a very generous $30/hr but decided to leave it. I've already done an hour's overtime and tomorrow is my office day, so will be up early. Anyway, managed £25 from Prolific today, sometimes I need to leave something on the table.

£1 delivery for a couple of hours back sounds like a good deal!5

I like the idea of seeing the delivery as a treat. I’m suspecting the shops will be rammed this weekend …
Any nice plans for the weekend?

A tough day. Rattled through a huge amount of work but some interpersonal crap to deal with
Onwards and upwards.
Some more tech nonsense as wellNew to me phone is Indian! Won't work with a UK SIM. Have arranged to have it sent back tomorrow but also had to drive to big Asda to return phone case and screen protectors as well as buy new phone, case and screen protectors 🤦🏻♂️
Managed an hour of overtime (done for the week), withdrew about £30 from Prolific, £33.34 paid into my S&S dividend pie. Coming close to my first target of £1,000 invested.
A funny mix of gratitude and grumpitude today. Take care all.7 -
‘Gratitude and grumpitude’ made me smile, even if your day didn’t … 😉 Glad you shifted a lot of work and hope any ‘atmosphere’ from the interpersonal stuff dissipates quickly!
Nearly the weekend 😊

love the "gratitude and grumpitude " comment. Sums up so many days for meMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!5 -
Today started off fairly well but got a bit pants towards the evening. DD2 was tired and overly stimulated - yelling, knocking things over (white wine and yoghurt over the couch). I got a bit wound up.
Starting to relax now. New phone nearly set up and all bits of aborted Indian phone now returned and/or refunded. Made $15 on Prolific from a few small AI surveys but can't withdraw as there's a Paypal glitch ongoing.
Lottery ticket bought and £2.52 sin tax paid into my SIPP.4 -
Feel free to totally ignore me but back when DS was around 3 we had to take him off orange juice. I believe they have sorted orange juice these days but is it possible DD2 has a similar problem but with something else.5
