Is anyone have problems with opening new accounts within the app? I’m getting “you have reached your limit with us”, I have 8 accounts within the app, 4x normal accounts & 4x savings 🤔 contacted CS and they say I can up to 20 accounts, that includes 10 savings accounts.0

I had exactly the same with an Android 10 smartphone, fully updated. Every other banking app - and I have lots - works on it. Chase does obviously doesn't like or doesn't trust certain (Samsung) phonesKingL2 said:I tried to download the Chase UK app following its feature in this weeks MSE email, but I'm getting "Your device isn't compatible with this version" error from Playstore. I'm on a Android 7 smartphone. Does that sound right? there is no mention of minimum system requirements. I'm not buying a new phone, so is that the end of the line ?

Both Samsungs -Android 10 and 11- are "not compatible"
Have emailed Chase support-Won't hold my breath0 -
I did. I got a canned response 2 weeks afterwards asking me to "update to the latest version of the app" (the one it wouldn't let me download) and to update to the latest version of Android "as it won't work with Android 7 or before" (I told them it was Android 10).Have emailed Chase support-Won't hold my breath
Someone else on a different forum told me it rejects certain phones that are not high spec enough.1 -
Apologies if already asked but can you get joint accounts for this or a 2nd card so my wife could take advantage of the cash back too?0
-
Currently no joint accounts, though someone has said that Chase say they're 'working on it'. The card can be used in Google pay though, and on more than one device.Birdman2015 said:Apologies if already asked but can you get joint accounts for this or a 2nd card so my wife could take advantage of the cash back too?1 -
Any reason for not opening a second account for her?Birdman2015 said:Apologies if already asked but can you get joint accounts for this or a 2nd card so my wife could take advantage of the cash back too?0 -
Not really, just really needed one account. Can work around the single card with Google Pay.k_man said:

I assume if you open a second account with partners name, any tax implications on savings interest would still be allocated to you and not your partner?

I don't understand your statement.Richchad said:k_man said:

Chase do not offer joint accounts. An account with your partner's will not be anything to do with you. Interest will be allocated to your partner.1
