Just opened my Chase account a couple days ago. I was surprised it was actually fully functional immediately. After sending them photo of my driving license, it was verified within 3 minutes or so. It was just a few minutes before midnight.

Debit card may become blocked at the whiff of a transaction that seems 'suspicious'. So, I'd definitely not be using chase as the ONLY or the MAIN account.Support is generally good though. They contact you straight away to ask you if you carried out the transaction.0

Going to shoot myself in the foot here but can someone explain to me why I shouldn't active the 5% round up offer over my existing activated 1% cashback offer?
Just struggling to understand the fundamentals of the 2 offers.0 -
There's no reason why you shouldn't if you like the idea of round ups. It's an accounting annoyance, but on the other hand it does generate a little interest at a higher rate than can easily be obtained elsewhere.Schizophonickh said:Going to shoot myself in the foot here but can someone explain to me why I shouldn't active the 5% round up offer over my existing activated 1% cashback offer?

The two offers happily co-exist and do not interfere with each other. As per my response to your other post, the 5% is a gimmick and you are not likely to make more than a few quid from it. Cashback is likely to be more substantial, but it obviously does depend on your spending.Schizophonickh said:Going to shoot myself in the foot here but can someone explain to me why I shouldn't active the 5% round up offer over my existing activated 1% cashback offer?

I've just had an invite by email to join the Chase Community, I filled out a short survey and apparently they will add the functionality to the app for me shortly. I can only assume this is some sort of focus group for new features. At least there are some signs of progress behind the scenes!1

It's not possible to top-up my Revolut with Chase debit card. It says it's not a UK issued card or something like that.

I would contact Revolut explaining that it is indeed a UK issued card and that they should update their BIN number database, it is not a Chase issue per se. Chase would have been assigned the first 6 digits of the card by MasterCard, and it is often a set up by the card processing business that allows or not to accept certain BIN (i briefly worked on such a project, whereby BIN were driving also different charges for the retailers).Alex9384 said:It's not possible to top-up my Revolut with Chase debit card. edit:
I have checked with 4 different BIN checker online. 3 out of 4 had the Chase UK bin as Issued by Westpac bank of Australia, and the 4th had it has issued by JP Morgan Europe LTD, country GB but the issuer URL was still Westpac.com. Of the Other 3 checker, 2 had it as an Australian BIN and one as a UK bin. So I guess that some database are more updated then others4 -
So, who gets there salary paid into Chase? If so, has there been any problems? Was thinking of doing it.
