  • I'm not doing it for Cashback. Not had any cash back on any transactions. I make a transaction on the Chase card through Curve, I then GBIT to move the transaction to another Debit Card. It is done to get the money into the round up account on Chase.
  • The card I change to gives me 2% "Cashback" in Crypto.

  • @jjmmww1 I've staked for Ruby but didn't take the card upgrade. Working on building up to Jade/Indigo 😏

  • Is there a way to disable "authorise online payment" or add a retailer/merchant to an approved list?

It's OK having to load the app, click approve, enter passcode, click Done if you make an online purchase now and then but if you have a lot of transactions in a short space of time then it's a real pain.

Probably not, so I'm afraid you'll have to work for those 99p round-ups.
  • I do find the passcode bit annoying, especially as I have already used biometrics to open the app.

Passcodes are fine if you don't have many accounts :)

Ever seen it depicted in media where an unauthorised phone user bypasses biometric security because the registered owner is just… physically there, but incapable of resisting?

I actually encourage passcodes + biometrics (2FA in general) for anything that isn’t accessed frequently or is important such as financial transactions.
