Chase debit card arrived. It doesn’t seem to have anywhere to sign on the back, just the metallic strip. All my other cards need signing and asked around friends who also say the same. Does it not require a signature? Does not having one bring any limitations?
MasterCard announced that having the signature strip was no longer necessary in 2018 as they are hardly ever used now

From 2024, cards will start removing the metallic strip as well - though it will take a decade for this change to occur globally.

Are Chase reporting to CRAs yet?

    Apparently was on their roadmap?
    Thanks

Yes it shows on credit karma (TransUnion), if I remember correctly the other CRAs will come later

I've had a Chase UK account for a couple of years. I've only used it as a savings account up to now, but would like to start taking advantage of the 1% cashback on debit card spending, so plan to start transferring £500/month to the Current Account to enable this.
I was wondering if anyone knew how quickly I should start receiving cashback after making my first £500 deposit - i.e. how long does it take Chase to recognise that the account is in active use, and hence eligible for cashback?

£500 paid into the current account (NOTE - not transferred from another Chase account) in any month will qualify you to receive cashback in the following month (max £15).

You can check if you've qualified for the current/next month in the Rewards bit of the app.

    That's very helpful - thanks!

Is it possible to check on the app if a past payment by DC (to a company) generated cashback or not ?
Last year I paid this company by DC and I can find the payment on the relevant Chase CA monthly statement, however there is no mention of any cashback on the CA statement. And there seems to be no statement for the Rewards Account.
(I know I could check the MCC of the company etc..)

The rewards 'statements' only go back 12/3 months it seems - so currently you can see all rewa4d actuvity back to Oct 2022. If it's further back than that, I don't think you'll find it in the app

Edited to add: if you open Rewards, click on All activity, you see activity by month, just like an account statement.

Anyone tried university tuition fee invoice payments by debit card for this 1% cashback offer please? Ts and Cs say no for university and college fees, so I doubt it'd work but thought it was worth checking as sometimes rules aren't enforced very well by IT. Thank you
