Hello. Just been on a 2.5 week trip around South Africa & I used my Chase card for all purchases and withdrew a small amount of cash for tipping car minders etc. Only had one transaction that was declined, all others worked perfectly. Cashback & fee free abroad thumbs up from me 👍👍

Hm, something seems amiss with my transactions today. I spent 1.05 at M&S (yay roundup) but it is showing thrice? My last purchase yesterday was also at M&S, that is not showing up at all. Anyone else have similar issues?

It's a tad concerning because they are app-only so nowhere else to check, also I'd reached out to their CS via message recently and they took days, rather than minutes to respond, so not sure if it's worth raising with them.

If you have the same purchase transaction showing more than once, it certainly is worth raising with them, and complaining about it. Also, hoping that purchases you know you made will never show is not really clever, as they will eventually catch up with you. If you don't get through to Chase on the chat, call or email them.

I have just messaged them about the multiple transactions, let's see when they respond and how. To be clear, I am not hoping that transactions I made won't show up, I want all my transactions to be listed, but some duplicated and some missing make me a bit worried. I haven't had an issue like this with them yet, I'm hoping it's just a one-off glitch.

Someone else mentioned experiencing the same (3x the same transaction). Your transaction will still be pending at this point. It might sort itself out, but I would reach out to them now just to be on the safe side. Worth giving messaging a try as the phone lines will be quite busy by this time. (edit: I see you've done this now) There is an option to flag a problem with a transaction by selecting it, although I'm not sure it is the best way of handling something like this.

I have also had a transaction take a long time to initially appear, but it turned up a few hours later.

Following on from my post yesterday around my Asda transaction not coming off my available balance or showing up in the transaction history. I’m now having issues as posted above, it has now come out of my account, but twice, once as a completed transaction and once as a pending transaction, both off my available balance. Looks like a glitch. I’ll wait and see if the pending one drops off before I complain.

I used my card, through Google pay, twice yesterday afternoon, had a (fairly) instant notification both times and see no issues in my account.

When I'm going abroad, with HSBC cards, I notify them online where and when I'm going. 
Do I need to do anything like that with Chase?
