    Hi everyone!
Hugs to those who need them! We've been broadbanded today [you didn't know that to broadband was a verb did you:D ] Woo hoo:j Old style board here I come. You never know might even be able to post now at home...gave up before because my dinosaur dialup took so longer I kept getting chucked out before I'd finished my post or is it because I endlessly ramble?!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:
Nowt much old styling today other than cleaning the bathroom and shoe cleaning. I made a batch of the Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall's festive flapjacks last night [I took the recipe from his website] and I bought some in today for my work colleagues to try. They seem to have gone down very well. I made them whilst listening to my Xmas CD...I think OH will have been driven stir crazy by the time he's listened to it a few times:D
I went on a fantastic Christmas herbal course on Saturday. We made gift baskets and filled them with rose sugar, marigold sugar, herb mustard, herb pepper, an orange and rosemary jelly and an elderflower or applemint/lovage and oregano vinegar. The only thing is that it's a Christmas present to me from me with lots of love. I will however, share the Chrimbo pot pourri with my Mum.
May get a chance to pop back later as I'm working a late one tonight.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: No that's not me ice skating that's my dd! I did have lessons once though to learn how to stop without falling over as I once had to do that to avoid running over somebodies hand - he got up totally unaware that I ended up in hospital with a broken wrist! I did pass my grade 6 then gave up at the jumping part! :o

I am only halfway through writing out my christmas cards! Must get the ones done that have to be posted. Puppy is full of mischief today and has so far chewed tissues, loo roll inner tubes, a hanger, a shopping bag and won't leave the cat alone! Looks like a second walk is in order when dh gets in.

I have managed to freeze down some mushrooms though thanks to the thread on here today! Now what to do with the cabbages? do they freeze?

    afternoon all,

Been a bit of a funny day, I think getting up late puts you out all day, also going into work was strange as I don't normally work on a tuesday, still got the end of month accounts done today, so can start to wind down for xmas.

We are going for our works 'do' tomorrow, to Vinopolis in London for a champagne tasting tour and lunch, so loking forward to that.
Have had a headache and slight sicky feeling all day, so will have an early night and try to get rid of it.

Not much os done today, just about to shove some chicken legs in the oven for tea, with chips, need to use some veg up too, so will have that as well,
washing needs folding, and I think thats about it for today.

    Will pop back later

REDRUBY - have a good time tomorrow; hope you feel better in good time to enjoy it.

DLB - you did well today with your bargains!

Good to hear from you ANNIESTAR!

Well, I am knee deep in the contents of three drawers that have just been emptied on to the office floor. Help! Just thought I'd stop with a cuppa and hope I recharge!

Better get on - need to get it all put away and then do some ironing. Too late for a nap now but I shall feel very saintly later on at having achieved so much!

Well the dentist was OK, I need a tiny filling (thought so) and I asked for a scrape & polish - too many fags and coffees lol. I'm going back in january for those. Including today's check-up, £48. Not bad :D

Mr tru has declared that we need to spend £100 each on ourselves for Christmas  I was going 'but........ermm...but.......but.......' and he said 'NO ARGUEMENTS, we never buy ourselves anything'. So I agreed but said I want the money so I can buy stuff in the sales :D
