    Morning all,

Very cold here but nice and sunny again to-day, need to finish writing cards soon and let them off in post.

Still have lots of knitting to do, not sure if it will be finished for Christmas, hate that as it means I will have to find a substitute, we'll see.

Hilstep...hope that your mum's feeding tube works

Pen Pin...happy anniversary to you and Mr Pin

    Anniestar...good to see you back

    Stefejb....good luck to-day

Catznine...definitely going to get to some of the European markets next year

    Granny broon...hugs

Taplady...glad that you got DS sorted

    Pooky...bless your energy!

tru...love to-day's offering, new version on me

Mioliere...we used to do the play-pen trick too...do people not use them anymore??

Really must do the cards...haven't even send the Oz or US ones yet so they at least should go to-day.

    Have a good day all

    Morning all !
Every intention today of starting flylady's list of 'stuff to do'.............so far, done nothing !!
Vaguely remember oH saying something about 'having to scrape ice off the car'..............drifted back to the land of nod (hadn't slept very well......too much walking on my bad foot two days on the trot (excuse pun) meant restless night. Consequently overslept !
One of the boys I foster had a taxi to collect him for school at 8.30am.........other lad I have was up and got him up but too late for the taxi.....it wouldn't wait ! So he knocks on my door............I fly out of bed (shouldn't have done that) and ring education dept. about another taxi.....'ih no' say they............cost too much..............education obviously not as important as they're ever so tight budget ! So, now got both boys home all day, plus one lad's girlfriend -they've just had enormous row........again - plus one of their friends. Phone ringing on and off...........seems OH has bought half a lamb of somebody !
Managed to finished wrapping, least I thought I had then realised still need batteries for something before I wrap it. So, not even done that yet and we're going to see my Mum and son and grandkids on Friday !!!!
Least dinner is all sorted..............what we were going to have last night till one lad decided to go visit his mum and have tea there.
So, not only is brain disorganised (what's new?) house is as well !!!!! No point even starting to do anything and anyway my foots playing up so why suffer more pain by trying to lug the hoover around. No point in asking boys...........they've done it before and I've had to do it again !!!!!!
So, thought I'd log on here..........................trouble is, now I'm on computer I'll not be able to get off................................!!!!!!!
Be glad when weekend is over...............I'll have delivered pressies and just might be able to see the floor again ! Next year they're all having money !!!
    Little moan over................................lol:rotfl:

Morning all...........OOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPPPSSSSSSSSSSSS sorry its after 12 noon.

((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))) to those who need one.

    Penny Pincher....happy anniversary.....enjoy your day.

Mary 43.......I gave up years ago buying presents, they get money......with 13 GCH it works out much easier on my poor brain, plus when they are 21 they fall off the list, at that age they are earning more than I get in pension and can buy me something instead!!!!! The lot of them usually club together and buy us something we need............which suits me down to the ground.

Lovely sunny morning, postman has just been with a parcel of stuff I won on ebay for my sewing machine.............2GCH are paying for it, very nice, mind you I have to put monogramms on their tee shirts and jumpers in return!!!!

Went down and put a load of whites in the wash, jst about to go down and retrieve them from the dryer. My ironing has gone down with a wump since we moved in here, most things can just be smoothed out and folded, still have to iron shirts though uggggggghhhhhhhh.....

Have a pot of leek and spuds soup on the hob for lunch. Bought bread mixes from Aldi last week 79p for a packet that makes 2 laoves, todays is sunflower seed..........could not believe the size of the loaf when I took it out of the breadmaker, had a job to cut it with the slicer it had risen so much!!!!

Right off to get the washing, have my lunch and then settle down to make two more cards......one for the library staff when we next go in.......we usually get 10 book each per visit, apparently we are their best customers!!!

    See y'all later.......................
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

I just might get that done.................one of the boys has now gone out for the day, the other, having had row with girlfriend and trashed his bedroom is in the process of clearing it up and having a bit of a 'tidy'..............wonders will never cease..............the worrying fact is he's got the hoover upstairs and last time we had to unblock it and found a biro stuck...........I shudder to think...................lol

Hi again It is good to know my posts aren't too unreadable. Just my paragraph spacing not showing up, hence the big block of text. Sorry, but my Thanks button still not working or I would have been thanking you all like mad. Hilstep - do hope things go well for your Mum; Happy anniversary to the Ppins; Stefejb - sorry to hear about your work problem; taplady, DS's digs sound great; aussie, yes, well at least you are asleep and don't have to read my daytime ramblings (strikethrough button not working!) Hi to twink and kyle. Sorry to hear about back problems and enjoy the trip to hairdresser. Love and hugs to all those I haven't mentioned. In work on my own and if I had realised I would have brought my cards in to write! Hope to get that done tonight.Off now to browse other forums (oops I mean get on with some work). Love GB xxxxx
