Thanks, sorry I'm being a bit useless this month (too much going on and I'm dizzy from plate spinning - lots of mostly minor health issues which have left my energy levels really low).apple_muncher said:Today I am grateful for having great journeys to and from work on the bike (it was like the cars all went a different way!), for being able to shower at work, for dc having a fab cbt session, for dh doing lots of running around, for laughing with the pupils instead of being annoyed at how easily they get off track!I'll set up October's challenge

20 Ways to Make Life So Much EASIER
1 Have 'Go To's
2 Spend ten minutes daily tidying up
3 Put things in their original place after using
4 Go out for walks
5 Forget about what others are doing
6 Have fewer goals
7 Accept the situation as it is (if you can't change it)
8 Cut out non-essential stuff that does not bring you much joy
9 Have one planner for everything
10 Spend some time on your own every day
11 Finish things that are worth it and let go of things that aren't
12 Stop following diets/ diet plans
13 Try new things and accept disappointment
14 Make quick decisions (if it's wrong, you'll realise very quickly but don't waste hours over trivial decisions)
15 Which clothes do you actually wear? Keep what you like and use, ditch the rest. Same for apps, furniture and decoration
16 Make sure to do the things that make you happy daily
17 Let the other person be right
18 Set time (limits) for social media
19 Be grateful

Still on NSD 11.Spend day yesterday but an absolute necessary one - a takeaway after an exhausting nights for both OH and I. DS has been very unwell (still is) - sick 11 times yesterday from midnight. We’re on 2 today so far. He’s not eaten in over 24hours. Took him to the GP yesterday who said to monitor him, get him to drink fluids (which he’d been refusing) and take him to paediatrics at hospital if things don’t improve. Will see how it goes today. There’s nothing much more distressing (as many of you know) than seeing your child suffer.Today we’ll do as little as possible. OH is away to work and superMum is coming over to lend a hand with DS and the cleaning.Grateful for Mum, a little more sleep last night, DS not having been sick since 4am.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸5

I am back home well was 2 days ago but just catching up with everyones tales.Had a lovely break in Somerset, trip to Cheddar included, visiting family was good to see everyone. Minimum spends except train fair and a few pressies for having me. Was hoping to see other brother but unfortunately his wife was taken into hosp on the Sunday so couldn't meet up.Back home for the weekend, food shopping, local artisan market, small walkies with grandkids.Monday/ Tuesday gig manchester which was my first since lockdown, so lovely to see people having fun and live music, missed that so much. Spent on hotel and trains, cheap food out but counting this as holiday treat. No idea where I am up to NSD's this month. Need to knuckle down rest of the month saying that off to see a Queen tribute band tonight with dd's not sure I will like this. Big Queen fan when they were unknown and supporting Mott the Hoople so reckon this will be cheesy. Be nice to do something with dd2 before she returns to Canada however.Grateful forHealth - this week brought home to me how lucky I am. Gig buddy has had cervical cancer, relative had to have leg amputated at knee.Sun is out and afternoon off, fence painting can wait off to see new signets in the park.Seeing my family and discovering family history.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/225

Ice poles, lemonade lollies, fruity lollies etc all count as fluids @ldee2111 and if he is hurling due to a throat infection, it will also soothe. Oh god I remember it all so well. Pink medicine and the freezer fix most ills. Hope the little chap feels better soon.ldee2111 said:Still on NSD 11.. Haven’t posted for a few days as work has been really busy and too tired to do much when I finally log off.
NSD #18 today. One advantage of working so much is that I haven’t had time to spend anything.
Had a really bad nights sleep last night so As I was awake started work at 7.30 but finished only 30 minutes late at around 5.30. Going up to bed soon and will try to catch up on some sleep. Tomorrow I am determined to finish on time at 4.30.
Today grateful for quick and easy food, time to relax this evening, a comfortable bed and good quality cholcolateThat money talks I don't deny, I heard it once, it said "Goodbye"6
