Morning!Took the opportunity of kids not being here to clean their rooms, they did a rotten job of it at the weekend, so have cleaned, hoovered, sorted, and removed stuff. They can live with the mess, I simply cannot.Duvets washed and on the line. Hopefully will be ready for bedtime, but if not they can have a sheet and blanket and will be fine.Meters read, housekeeping done, hiding from the big glowy radiation source in the sky.Off to clean the bathroom, and then make lunch.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Hi thanks for lovely comments last week. I am so excited I got to take ds1 out in the rehab garden yesterday, and am going again in a bit. And I do fit in bits of me and ds2 time, went for a long walk with ds2 last week and went of to the sweedish shop to get uni house stuff this morning. And we returned a £35 mattress cover that had snook into basked due to confusing pricing! Well spotted ds2,
This morning is a morning off, and then 4 days of work and visit and then Sunday off. I can do it. And yes I might count low spend days.
Grateful for time w ds1 and ds2.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Still on NSD #2. I bought ice creams and lollies on the way to pick up the boys from school - it was too damn hot not to!£6 spend, 2 boxes of knock off df/gf C0rnetto-type cones and one lot of strawberry splits (only 88 cals!). Everyone happy, no fighting (until we got out of the car) house much cleaner and tidier than when I started this morning. Success! Now I am melting, so will sit and do surveys for a bit.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

@Thrifty_Taylor hope you're OK!
NSD 4 today. Worked from home this morning, did some terrible online training for 3 hours and ended up lying down as my back couldn't quite hack sitting up for that long! Then went on a visit - kid didn't attend - so back home again. Just finished putting the rest of the vinyl tiles down in the bathroom, it looks really good! I might attempt the kitchen... I'm even tempted to do the bedrooms but I'm not 100% sure yet. I'll see how the kitchen goes. But it'll save a fortune compared to paying for carpets! Always trying to be MSE! Just not sure how my house buns will cope with vinyl flooring in more areas... don't want any unexpected vet bills!
Nothing else to report, work is still quiet, back pain recovery is what it is, not sure if there's much improvement in my pain yet but I need to give it time.7 -
NSD # 6 today. Tempted to up my target to 25 NSDs
Busy couple of days at work and doesn’t look like it’s going to get less so any time soon. Worked late yesterday but decided to log off early, well only an hour late, tonight so I could sit in the garden and enjoy the lovely weather.
Spent an hour on hold trying to cancel flights for a neighbour who is deaf only to be given 2 options, one of which would have required me to ring them back. Luckily they chose the other option. I don’t mind helping out as she is always so grateful and it must be so frustrating when you cannot use the phone. It makes me realise how lucky I am.
Grateful today for lovely sunshine, headphones so I could carry on working whilst on hold and supportive work colleaguesThat money talks I don't deny, I heard it once, it said "Goodbye"6 -
Hugs to those in need of them.
Am on 4 NSD, but today was a spend day.
Have been busy in work. Been catching with a few admin jobs at home over the last week. Found a tiny bit of paperwork that can be put into the recycling bin. Got an extra front door key cut today for my nephew for whenever he needs to come and stay over. Posted it off. Makes both our lives easier, especially if I am at work. Brought a new bed today for the spare bedroom. Only need to bed a few extra things for bed, eg duvet. Have some things in already.
Grateful for:
Getting a good deal on divan, mattress and headboard.
Bed getting delivered today as well.
Having a day off work.

Today I am grateful for the sunshine (sorry, f0xh0les!), for my counsellor, for people in the streets all keeping their distance, for my rasps, for having a working printer.

Got some money off by trading in my old phone too.Grateful for a sunny day, DS sitting well at the dentist, an invite to friends’ for dinner.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸5

Thank you for your comments. I'm ok today, but was dreading being with the pupil again. Thankfully all went well. Headteacher said she was going to follow things up, hope she does this time.
Conquered the ironing pile after work, followed by dishes & a bit of pottering.
Grateful for a sunny day, line dried washing, being able to offer support to a colleague going through a difficult time (I've picked her some Sweet Peas from the garden to give her tomorrow), clean beddingUse it up, wear it out
