Season of mellow fruitfulness - and of spider webs being strung across the garden at face height so that I can walk straight into them......🤦♀️
Sold a big bag of books on fbook yesterday so that's £15 for DS1
Thankful for a really sunny day, lovely food, getting some food prep done for a few meals. Not thankful for really noisy neighbours still in their garden chatting to friends really loudly (poss aided by alcohol but they are loud anyway)

Morning all. NSD 2 yesterday - well I did spend money on a train ticket but my friend sent me the money for it, so it doesn't count in my book. I am still slogging through for the next week. But there will be some relief on Thursday and then Friday...I am going to Cornwall for the weekend.

Great news Thrifty Lass!
A good day, moved all the compost over to the next storage bay. Think it's too dry, so not breaking down as quick. Met up with a friend this afternoon, she's just finished treatment for cancer. Took her girls to the new playpark next to the school where I used to work, so nice to have a look round. Managed to do some knitting & sort all the letters for posting this week.
Grateful for my friend, time in the garden, a long bath with my bookUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

CEW said:Had a lovely relaxing day today. Sat in the garden for an hour or so to eat lunch and catch up with Mum on the phone then sat on the sofa with the dogs watching a film. This evening was my regular phone call with Dad to catch up.Gratitudes today lovely sunny day allowing for all the doors and windows to be opened. Great conversations with both Mum and Dad. Selling 2 items on the Bay of E. Quick question, do I lose a NSD when I pay the postage if the buyers have paid me for the postage? My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage7

Will post daily quotes later. I've slept heavily, woke twice when it was still full dark but when I woke at 5.19 am it was following a long involved dream. As is the way of such things I recognised several elements as actual places. The hotel breakfast room and a staircase leading down which it was better not to use were both from actual hotels we have stayed at. The lift from 2nd to 3rd floor and the hotel entrance were familiar but both in department stores I think - one an old fashioned one where buildings have been joined together with small flights of stairs and other arrangements to match up different floor heights. I was wearing a nightie (not one I own) and pushing a shopping trolley when I went for a walk in the middle of the night ended up by a small steam in a garden and then didn't know what my room number was or how to get back there (hotel staff retraced my journey on CCTV after I fell upon them, weeping because I was lost.
Needless to say I will not be accepting any coke substitutions on my future shopping orders. Didn't like the one they sent when it first came out and although it is now more palatable, it obviously contains chemicals which do not agree with me (will be investigating what they are later). I've not had such a long vivid dream since I was addicted to Spring rolls when I was carrying DS2 (can still recall quite a bit of that one).
So I've had my pills and a shower, am well rested (slept from 5.19 am until after 9 am) but just going to rest in my nest, eat my yoghurt and let things settle. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage5 -

May this week be filled with good thoughts, kind people and meaningful moments
(this is my third attempt, it got shorter each time and my post disappeared and the second and third times the things I was copying disappeared). Will sit outside and think for a while - have done bits of cleaning, bits of basic grooming and have a list - things to buy, things to do, things I need to check weekly/ every day etc (all in one list for now)My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage4 -

Blimey it is hot out! 24 degrees, but was probably hotter sat in my car waiting for kids. After all, some idiot made it out of metal.Kids awful, Monday school run over, 2 hours of volunteering left to do tonight - I am reaching the end of my rope with it all, I think. Boarding school seems like a very nice option this afternoon.I have been researching solar panels and batteries. I am utterly terrified I am going to screw up my roof, and screw up the electrics, and just get it all horribly wrong. I blame that utter #@**£ Nick Knowles for putting the fear of god into anyone who needs a builder for the last 25 years.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
