Dizzy.. you don't need to be strong.. you can be a gelatinous blob.. one day at a time, or one hour, or one minute.. that's all you need.
OH has had himself a stern talking to regarding work.. he finds another job or I am handing in his notice for him.. he is so unhappy and taking it out on us obviously.. I will not live like this!!
Tomorrow I need to check through 2 lots of forms and get those sent off. Meem is staying here tonight because she was having 'bad thoughts' when by herself.. so she is getting drunk with Moomin a bottle of vodka my bottle of battenburg gin and some homemade cider.. I hear laughter.. and silliness...
nutkin is loving the rain, he brought in a huge worm.
Nest time...
Biscuit tin refilled for the WAC...
Car in at 9am tomorrow.. I am not going to sleep... I can't afford it to need anything doing... though I have a feeling the seatbelts are going to be condemned.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)9 -
Morning all...up at 6am as I couldn't sleep (even though I'm totally exhausted) so DH's lunch made, work shirt ironed and the kitchen S&S although WU still needs doing. Three month old dishwasher has given up already and I can't get a repair guy until 27th, so I'm enjoying washing everything by hand. Not.
Got a few things planned today including registering U15s football team, moving six pallet collars to the front garden to extend my kitchen garden for next season and supervising new 150m2 patio layout that's being laid this week and next. Lots of deliveries should arrive today with drainage components, manhole covers, and decorative shingle so will be busy!

More hearing aid batteries got, as I was running out.Got some free ice cream containers from out side one of the many ice cream shops, they will do for the garage / seeds etcGot peppermint teas and such like for OH, as he says his taste buds are funny.Sold a chiminea £20 which has been sat in the shed, I bought it with a fire pit for £20, so the fire pit is free, plus I have room in the shed. The caterpillars are escaping from the garden and seem to be climbing in places up the front of the house, so been out there with a broom to get them off, I don't want them making it into the loft via the air gaps!I've done the bins, and sprayed mould type remover stuff in the shower room at the walls.Hugs and have a good day. ~~~Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Morning All,
Lovely to see you back in the fold Dizzy, don't be a stranger xx
Up at 7am and busy busy ever since. Kids at dancing, chickens cleaned out, eggs delivered, poo picked, one loads FUPA and another on the line, loads of admin and emails dealt with, loads of junk flung
I have also unloaded the DW, showered and made all the beds. And it's only 11am! Another egg delivery to do now, but this is a 3 mile round trip on foot, so will walk the dog at the same time.
Hugs all round x11 -
Sending low bill vibes for Pigpen's car ...
I am cold, despite wearing a thin thermal vest and two jumpers. This cannot be my thyroid after Docs telling me my levels are borderline too low now. I will get the hoover out, that should warm me up.
Paid stuff done. You know those people who make you feel stupid at work, well I have one of those, just had a conversation with him and it made me feel a bit rubbish. Deep breaths.
Off on a little cleaning frenzy. If I get a couple of hours cleaning done then the house will be nice and tidy for the weekend.11 -
Hoping the car bill isn't too expensive for Piggers.
I have had a busy day today. Changed guest room back into an office for DH to work from, did dailies, hoovered through, collected dogs from dog sitter, made breakfast for DH ,did three lots of washing, fell over going out to garden to hang said washing, met up with friends, took painkillers, had lunch, popped into town for emergency repair to DHs denture after said lunch and breathe.
I'm shattered now so not sorry that a meeting has been cancelled tonight. Apart from taking the dogs out when the temperature dips, I am doing nothing else.
Whats still on my list stays on the list until tomorrow.Spend less now, work less later.11 -
Currently looking at £357 for the car and it won't be ready until Monday.. OH has work saturday and Sunday and we are supposed to be going to his mothers on Monday so that's not happening.. I'm not sure when he is off byond that.. I hate his job.
Emergency A&E run at 6:30am with Meem and her mental health.. have to arange blood tests and sort counselling and she is staying here for a few days at least.
I have a pounding headache and Dot will not shut her mouth.. I may need to go out but my stomach is not happy.. and I am becoming increasingly angry with the incessant annoying noise.

Hello all...Kaz, you've just reminded me I need to book a hearing test as I'm getting more deaf as the weeks go by and it's getting on DH's nerves. On the list for next week...
Sorry to hear Meem is not having a great time ATM Piggers - sending you both virtual support xxx
Lots of drainage work sorted today - new non-return valve installed on septic tank run as DH broke the original by rodding the drains the wrong way. Having sewage back-flow up into our wetroom was not fun when the flood happened in January. Lovely builder also removed a huge tree stump that would just not burn on the bonfire into the skip, so another job off the list.
Not much flying done except the basics as I'm so tired, but I did get several emails sent and various online jobs done. Just been handed a large G&T by DSS so his GF and I are now chilling on the sofa while the small beans watch a movie. I've promised a prawn linguine affair for dinner but that's not for another half an hour, so time to relax.

Evening all.
(((Hugs))) to Pigpen and GWS wishes to Meem xx
Sounds like you are pushing yourself a lot, Dizzy - be kind to yourself when you can (G&T and a movie sounds ideal)
I have had a physically tiring day too. DS1 had said he would be here soon after 07:00 but at 07:30 I received the following text from him (N and D are his dogs): "Will be with you asap but N has rolled in fox poo and D is currently refusing to come back because he thinks he's seen a deer"He finally arrived just after 08:00.
In the meantime I had washed and dressed, moved the desk, chair, filing cabinet, printer and PC across to the other side of the study, and taken down the curtains.
After sharing a bacon sandwich with DS1 (DDiL1 is vegan, so this is a rare treat for him), he carried on with putting up the batten in the study while I moved my bed and the two heavy bedside cabinets, and took down the curtains in my bedroom. I chased some cheeky spiders out from behind the bedhead and hoovered the bits of the floor that I could see - the room isn't big enough to move the bed around and clean it all. Then it was ready for DS1 to put up the batten in there, except that the ceilings of both the dormer windows are very uneven, so the job turned out to be bigger than he had expected: he had to shape all the pieces of wood, fill the small gaps with decorator's caulk, and measure up the big gaps for some filler pieces.
Finally I took down the net curtain in DH's room and moved his cactus collection off the windowsill. Ouch.
As DS1 left, the roller-blind man arrived, so I made him a cuppa and kept out of his way. My bedroom curtains went in the WM, I handwashed the net curtain, and the utility got extra attention today. The three blinds were fitted in just over an hour and look very good. I'm hoping the reduced glare will help prevent such frequent migraines.
Of course, once the fitter had left, I had to put all the upstairs furniture and both sets of curtains back in place... No wonder I'm aching now! I was actually quite pleased when Rosie refused to walk more than 150 yards from home, though she was happy enough to play football in the garden. And DH helped by putting lunch together.
I've sorted a few bits of paperwork this evening, and now I'm going to sit and watch inane TV (nothing really worth watching on Fridays) until DH comes home from war games.
Back to "normal" tomorrow!
