Morning all
Been up a while. I am now a fully-fledged redhead (again) and while the transformation was in progress I scrubbed the grout in the bath/showere with a toothbrush and vleach, also cleaned the shower hose. Am now doing some training for work (I'm currently in a section I already am familiar with but it's a prerequisite so I have to watch the video before I take the test).

Dizzy - plum jam is an easy(ish) jam to make - I count the plums in and the stones out though.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear9 -
I'm sorry, as usual, that I haven't been contributing which is becoming a bit of a thing. Been busy, but really it's no excuse. I hope everyone is okay - I'll read back later when I get a moment.Currently turning my office into a bedroom again for a delightful-sounding young lady due to arrive mid-afternoon because Lodger #1 still hasn't left although she has given me a leaving date two weeks hence, coming back for three days later in September. I've turned down a booking I thought I could cope with but we just can't squeeze another person in. Drought to flood in terms of bookings here.Bathroom s&s'd, Belovéd sorting out a muddle on the sundeck, cat's claws trimmed and Layla's ears will be doused when she's not expecting it - she realised as soon as I plopped the kneeler mat on the floor in the kitchen what was about to happen and hightailed it out of there. She had her heart murmer checked by a specialist and is cleared for surgery at last, so that will happen as soon as they can fit her in. She's on an exceptionally low dose of steroids and has lost her appetite completely so is dropping weight amazingly fast which she really needs to do anyway. Her heart murmer has deteriorated a little bit so she needs to be checked again next year so that's in the diary for then and I'll worry about it when the time comes.Routine boobs squash was shoe-horned in to the diary on Thursday - not nearly as painful as last time thank goodness.Better is good enough.10

Since my 15 minutes on the exercise bike this morning I have mainly sat down with a book to rest. Did do my errands though combined with another dog walk.Spend less now, work less later.9

Afternoon everyone x
Tool cupboard sorted, don’t suppose it will stay that way.
DH has done the airing cupboard
We have been to DG’s. 2 bookcases and a desk dismantled and all brought down stairs.
I’m back there soon as someone is collecting something for free as no one was interested in buying it.
Apart from 2 carpets and 3 pairs of curtains the upstairs is cleared. I wish I could or that should be we could decide once and for all about buying it. I think DH will be cross we have got rid of lots of things and we will need new ones if we do. I did think carefully and decided I would want to choose my own things even if 2nd hand.Sheared DH and vacuumed ground floor.
Hugs to Dizzy, sorry about your news x
Narco Hope your Mum is better soon x
Round You should be proud of what you have achieved in your house. I am in awe of your progress. x
Piggers Good luck with getting car back vibes x10 -
