Being completely honest, I tried to navigate the newbies thread and it totally confused me. But thank you for the link, I will take a look. Just submitted my complaint to customer services and CEO. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻
    What is confusing about: -
    IGNORE THE DEBT COLLECTORS' STAGE

    DO NOT PANIC!

CAN'T SAY IT ENOUGH, THIS IS NOT A FORUM FOR TALKING AD INFINITUM ABOUT DEBT COLLECTOR LETTER CHAINS SO PLEASE SPARE US!!!

DO NOT START A NEW THREAD ABOUT DEBT COLLECTOR TEDIUM, PLEASE, JUST SEARCH AND READ WHAT'S ALREADY BEEN SAID.
Like many, I found the newbies thread a bit confusing to navigate. Maybe to the well
versed user it is easier. I have seen other comments where people say the same. Please don’t make me feel bad for misunderstanding something. People come for advice, like many say, perhaps for the first time using a forum and for the less tech savvy, it might not be a straightforward as it seems. I appreciate that many super users have given the same advice over and over, so if preferred those users can choose to not reply.

Note your comments but the question "what is confusing?" still stands.  If the writer of the NEWBIE (@Coupon-mad) wanted to make it less confusing what would she change/put?

I’m simply saying that for whatever reason, it can appear a little confusing to read. For example, read the ‘4th sticky’ or ‘thread post’ - I didn’t know what this meant and after some rooting around the site tried to work it out. I have also seen others comment the same thing - not a criticism just an observation. I wouldn’t criticise anyone else’s work and appreciate the time and effort that super users go to give advice to people like me.

Ok , so from now on , in simple terms , do not post about debt collector letters , this parking forum heading doesn't even mention debt collectors , lol we don't want to know about them , or the words they contain

We do want to see something useful , newsworthy , like what comes back from David Potts or his customer service team or his P A !  I definitely want to know what they say , good or bad

The problem is that everytime you add to this thread , we have to read it and see what is happening , which is currently nothing at all !

So when you have some useful news , post it , so we aren't wasting our time ! So we can help those in need of proper advice or help

    Thank you

I will post a reply if I get one from DP. As mentioned the other email bounced back so hoping that one got through and I get a response 👍🏻

It used to be so easy before the forum software was upgraded, threads were what are now called discussions.  There used to be a button marked "New Thread" and a post went onto a thread.  Now you have a drop-down button to create a post or a thread or even a Poll.  Posts used to be numbered and it was so easy to refer a NEWBIE to a particular post in a thread/discussion.

It was sooo easy when posts were numbered.

The forum changes and search function (and quote function) now are all awful.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • I'm glad it isn't just me who finds the new search function absolutely awful - at first I thought I was just being a Neanderthal but seeing the experts are commenting also is in a strange way rewarding  :)

(at least the emojis still work!)

Yep you end up getting useless 2009 results mixed in, no idea why they don't present in date order!

As you are so active on here, you could get in touch with MSE and work with them to create something much easier for consumers?! They might be willing to discuss it!
