I'm convinced (having read parts of the book online) that i need to lose 6 to 10 kg.  Probably nearer the 6 than the 10 so lets call it 8.  I've started being more intentional especially as i have noticed my mental health struggles if i do not eat lots of veggies.
I have dm'd you.  Yes veggies make such a difference. I had loads quick 'treats' yesterday and felt awful. I will be aiming for a total 10 kg but am away this weekend for 2 weeks so the big 'push' will happen on my return but planning to eat well and do a few meal subs with my vegan shake over the next week
the book does suggest gif those with a healthy bmi to do shorter periods on the 800kcal

yes this Androfeme tst is so much better for me. However I didnt fuss the cats just allowed them on the bottom of the bed etc. Briefly picked them up but then washed hands to avoid rubbing my eyes.   At least no huge welts this time that lasted for weeks.. I cant afford a mad allergic reaction right now.

Felt like a long day today back in London and didnt sleep well yesterday or night before. So I was meant to go to an event (more free drinks) but decided I am too exhausted and want to tidy my home as been away since Friday and then start tomorrow afresh.

Oh my, room for one more?!

I have been less caring about what am eating for the past year and I need to rein it in... a bit scared that my 'non caring' attitude is not good at all. The issue I have is OH has lost so much weight with his illness and have been trying hard to get him to eat its finding the balance between our needs. Upping protein seems to be the way to go for the both of us.

I have also purchased THE BOOK! Hoping to scare myself into eating better…

it has worked for me... I've scared myself ;) Lost 3 kg in last 6 days. Been eating very well (chicken with a lot of salad and some protein shakes) and not eating after 7pm either.

Lovely to see the sun come out again, had a great walk to my EMS then straight for a pedicure after yesterday  I have a shellac pedicure twice a year - for beach holidays and always  ahead of this trip. I find shellac does not chip on the beach. I don't do my hands as I don't like the damage nail varnish/polish/shellac and heaven forbid false nails do to my natural nail beds. Love the look but having damaged nail beds on my hands after is not for me...  I dont mind re my feet!

3 days into eating less re the diabetes diet and I am feeling better and leaner. 6 days later I feel great..
Current Visceral Fat level 6 (was lower at 5 last year but the hormones have really kicked in) - this is the level I am looking to get down.
I also notice I have 3kg more body fat than June last year (same machine readings)

I did my packing last night and tried on most my wardrobe for this time of year  - they either  fit but definitely a bit tighter than last year OR due to the weight gain I cant zip up to my chest - I can zip up past my waist  and ribs but the tighter evening dresses are not having it that last two inches past the cleavage! . Left a couple at home and plan to walk/dance/eat loads greens  my way into the others - or have, like the scene for Bridgerton Season 1 episode 1, 3 people  zipping me into my dress .
I know 3 kgs came from the TST (still feeling great on the androfeme but still feel quite inflated) but I refuse to replace my fabulous wardrobe.

I notice my nails are growing nicely as well as a side effect of the androfeme, they used to be great but kept breaking over the last year or so but suddenly they all naturally grown again.

Flown to my special place in Europe today and heading to the local Lidl to stock up on salads, fish, eggs and proteins. Will go easy on the cheese and avoid the free alcohol unless its champagne or an exquisite glass of wine, definitely no cocktails far too many calories.

    Happy sunshine all  ;)

On the abroad work jollies....You will be glad to know, that as the man in front had the last of the champagne yesterday I then opted for water instead. It was 3pm ... and i can far more easily say no to rose or prosecco, free champagne is harder.

Then at another event last night when the champagne ran out (of which I had 2 small glasses), a quick sip of the relatively awful prosecco that followed I decided life was too short so had a glass of the much nicer provence rose with some ice in and then stopped there.

Today the prosecco ran out as I was arriving at the bar so I had a small rose with ice and only managed 4 sips and then left the rest.  I had some abroad calls to deal with for my summer side hustle and now am working late into the night. i have some early meetings to prep for and a long day followed by a really fun event tomorrow evening - champagne will be drunk.
So my drinking  is very under control, even though its all free  - I only wish I had as much willpower on the 'quick energy' fix of junk... dresses fitting better but still a bit tight. I did  over 19k steps yesterday and 12k today but did not put my watch on til gone lunchtime.

I also  got some great advice from someone who had done the similar side hustle before many times that I am doing this summer, its taken a few days to get to speak to them. I met them last year and asked for advice and he was very helpful, making me think of things I had not.

I already was not sure paid pr was the way to go especially at the rates the PR people I emailed started quoting at, so now I am 100% convinced I was right. On his advice I have taken out a couple ads in the industry paper, he is doing the same again this year himself, what he does and I do are very similar business model which can only support each other. The ads are not cheap but the maths and the fact I am unknown and this is to drive sales makes me feel this is a much better use of my 'marketing' cash. The PR was so expensive  even in a relatively cheap currency to the pound that it could have taken a large chunk of my income.
I will have to do more FB ads and emails myself (unless I hire someone) but I have the time.

The sun is shining here as I know it is in the UK. I am happy ;)

They had run out of champagne by 3.00pm??? Not sure whether that means they aren't getting enough in, or people are going wild early in the day 🤣
