    @Queen_of_the_Hive @KajiKita @PennysIntoPounds tx - its amazing what a bit of focus  + extra motivation does ;)
I used to win a lot on comps, in 2017 its was over £15k in rrp value ... however once i started the mb for actual cash that took up my spare time so i did less comping

Great wins, congrats! Those cocktails will be fab when the weather gets nicer and you can lounge in a park or garden with a pal
Think there is loads of sugar in them! So will keep as a gift or for a party...

@KajiKita the flat thing starting to move forward and i am doing my summer side hustle so I am thinking next spring to start flat hunting  at latest

    Interest !
£25.32 interest paid on my Help 2 buy isa - I added the max £12k in by last year so the current £12,860.47 shows my interest - waiting to hit £1k interest in there by yr end  - only 2.25% rate but it’s fiddly to move for a better rate

Last night after a v busy day working on various clients and the side hustle (& ems training) I popped to see a friend - he had cooked an amazing pork in the air fryer then made a hot spicy veg curry with rice and couple Japanese mini sweet snacks plus a couple glasses wine
I rarely eat rice but I enjoyed the meal &  am actually finding the 2-3 days on the Newcastle diet when I am at home (basically chicken and loads veg:salad) then a day of larger eating/drinking when out so far working well.
Some body builders do this when cutting - 3 day lower carb 4th day higher - it’s called carb cycling and keeps your body confused and metabolic rate still high

Either way my friends all said how great I looked - losing that crept on 4/5kg so far has made such a difference. You could  also see in the pics we took - I look much leaner and my shape is coming back
I wore my new Vinted purchase - the copy of the dress I already had that’s ripping - v happy with it

I Have some side hustle work to do plus Mb today. I had said I look after a friends kids but they now have a play date so I don’t need to
    kid herd.
I am being asked to go out this evening but will see - I am also feeling like a proper scrub/declutter of my apartment is needed - that post being abroad in a flat with not much stuff then wondering why I have so much in my home!
Got a bag of stuff for CS so will see if I can find some more and pop in later
I could sell it but waiting for it to go I only put the higher price items up - the rest I want the space

Currently testing the C**Nish seaweed hair stuff - my hair is definitely suffering
second use of the shampoo conditioner serum and my hair feels hard to blow dry and almost sticky ! Earlier this week first time it didn’t seem to do much
However I pinned my hair up when rushing out and later my hair that’s been looking a bit scraggy / have fine hair but generally loads of if .. suddenly was a giant bush ! Looked thick though
I will try less product next time and give this a proper test
I usually use Klorane (I buy in France) and it’s light enough for my hair to look good

No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Made a stock yesterday from my Corn fed chicken so will make a veg soup as part of my health kick
Currently have watercress in the stock (was not v fresh) broad beans broccoli and spinach plus a load of garlic ginger fresh coriander and lemon zest /juice  - it was a pretty decent stock so shouldn’t need much else

Thank you for reminding me to make stock - I have 3 large free range carcasses in the freezer 👍🏻

Also, I know I'm about 3 months late, but we save our Morrisons vouchers for Christmas too. Will be at £65 come tomorrow, with about £35 in Nectar points :)

it was actually super tasty, I added some smoked paprika, my fav kashmiri chilli powder, extra pepper. I cooked the veg for 8 mins then blended it  and also it needed a bit of vinegar as the stock was v rich so a dash of apple cider vinegar was needed to 'cut' the chicken stock just before serving. Plenty for tomorrow and was v filling/healthy/cheap as it was all veg I had in the fridge or freezer. Plan was to use it as a base for a Japanese soup bowl type dish.. but ended up eating as soup.

@edinburgher I only currently have one freezer so I always make the stock first as no room to freeze the carcass. I normally then freeze the stock but I have a fair few batches frozen already and am aiming to empty freezer in the next few weeks.  I did have a second full size fridge freezer (was gifted) but the extra elec is not justifiable as its just me
I currently have 16k of Morries points so just over £15, the idea for saving for xmas came from the somewhere on here..

Enjoy your evening out or your evening in 😊🥂
Had an afternoon snooze instead of going for a walk so definitely staying in this eve, I have to be up and out by 8.30am with a packed lunch in the morning for a day in the countryside so.. I will be taking a flask of coffee, have a FR YS chicken breast defrosting I will airfry and maybe take either a salad or some soup ...but its a lot to carry of flasks ..

    Free airfryer
    - I tested it today - from my neighbour -  its a manual Tower one - they retailing for £70 in the argos sale. It was  good, I did absolutely clean /scrub everything  - i airfried half an aberdeen angus burger - (I looked and saw they 480 kcals each burger - they are huge! ) I normally would have one if not 1.5 but I am determined to get this visceral fat down to 3 - currently at 5..
plus I airfried  a portobello mushroom under the burger to catch the fat. The burger was quicker  definitely but cant see it was crispy. I will try some fries once this extra weight is dropped.
The thing I like about the airfryer is having to use less oil. I like oil and think its good for one but as Prof Roy Taylor said is that ultimately  calories are just that - and right now the extra 100kcals of coconut or olive oil to fry things are not needed.
the airfryer missing the rotisserie arm - i guess I can buy one but I use my halogen to roast chickens anyway -

Its the last day of the month so I am doing one of my fav things
My monthly adding up of all my MB/trading  accts - I didnt do much this month but am up at first look over £1500  this month (similar to last) which is great. This is largely some extra place horses coming in - its the software I bought so no looking at horse names ;)  I have also just hit over £30k made in the last few years - I lost a G sheet so dont have the first 18 months data on +l
I can see on Ynab from Dec 23 to May 25  - 18 months I have averaged £561.27 per month on MB/CASINO/SPORTS TRADING, over £10k which as its tax free is great - this excludes the software costs which run at £600 pa

My EOM YNAB - my trip away was cheaper this year than last by about £200 ;) Plus I have some invoices to bill for meetings I did there for others..  I think I was so aware of what I am spending out for this summer side hustle etc and waiting on payments.
I am getting some decent monthly avg costs now I am 18 months into YNAB.
