However maybe your home scale is good enough - if you have a starting point then watching the Visceral fat go down is good enough
FOOD/Nutrition/Exercise
I am back in the EMS studio and my core is really showing the results of doing a plank whilst being electrocutedThere is still a layer of fat on the bottom half of my belly but I am 4.5kg down from my heaviest weight last month and now back on eating super well. So clothes fitting and feeling much better.
I also danced at the festival and hit for 31k steps on Saturday (!) as well as EMS Friday and Sunday...
Tried making my first omelette in the airfryer (pre fried mushrooms, onions, bacon) then added it all into a silicon loaf tin and cooked for 8 mins... served with lots of salad. Dinner for myself and my friend who currently helping me with the sidehustle stuff was airfried marinated salmon with bak choi, oyster mushrroms, pepper and also I heated some chickpeas witjh harissa spices and cumin/chilli and boiled it down and it was lovely and healthy
I am also on days I am not going out getting back to eating last meal and no snacking after 6pm. Done it the last 2 nights, I go to bed earlier and I wake up the next day feeling great and leaner.
Tx @TallGirl and Pennies
The last weekend days have been expensive ones, a round of three cans of vodka/mixer at the Saturday festival were £26.99 and 3 x GF chips came to £30... the tickets were free as I had won 4 at £93 each plus Booking Fee.. However none of us was getting drunk at £9 a small can each...
Lunch last Friday turned into then a long day and evening out with friends... so I have not drank since Saturday and been keeping my expenses low.
I did for the first time ever check the half price elec that the Scottish energy company does suddenly at the weekend (11-4) so I waited to do my washing within the time frame.
SIDEHUSTLE HEAVEN
I now have THREE white boards plus a sticky yellow note white board all in operation ahead of my side hustle - dealing with various areas. I feel much better for having it all clearly in front of me I can check, tick off and add where I need..
Plus I have checked and already have some paid signups - I am very pleased at this.
There are lots of little fiddly things I need to sort, however I am super organised and can now see clearly. I always feel where I feel 'tension' or 'slight fear' is a reminder I need to triple check everything as opposed to a reason to stop. I am also chanting for real success in reaching people and helping them.
I also have a wish list of things to do and a must do ..so actually happy I have not got much standard work on.
PLUS I have emailed various places and offered them a short version (90 min) talk on my programme
I have been promised money this week from the large invoices, there is work to be done only I can really do well and be trusted and I made it clear I am not adding to my invoice levels without some serious payments. I will keep you all informed..
WINNING
Just won tix to my favourite local festival - been really trying hard so pleased about that plus tix to a podcast - think my BIL will love it.
I definitely have the comping bug back again
VINTED - my £25 cash came thru on the sale. I will transfer it out and pop into my Tt isa. Now to add a few more things..

31K steps!!! 😳😂👏 I ‘only’ did 25K the day we moved into here - I thought that was a lot!! 😂 Fair dos 😊
You’ve made me smile at the thought of all the white boards and sticky notes - my work office is evolving into that. What I find interesting is how others react to it - warehouse manager flinches at Greg random wonkiness of it, technical manager goes ‘Ooh, I love things like that! 😊’
KKAs at 15.07.25:

I love the whiteboards. I need to up my game in that area
I have just looked at mine and from its previous level of organisation it has become a jumble and is rarely used. As my mood has been down a bit, I need to redo my whiteboards. Than k you for the inspiration and your side hustle sounds like it might take over - which - would be awesome! Getting mine up and running took a lot of work but it has paid off in that I can see the benefits whenever I look at my pension pot.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!3 -

KKI do love getting my steps in dancing!
@KajiKita yes the white board wonder.. This may be my most whiteboards on the go at one time ....
However it works to keep me on track in a way that Power BI, MONDAY and all those online Kannt charts never do.
I actually do in the 20ks steps quite often, and always when I go dancing.. I often dance often around my flat.
@watty1 Get those white boards cleaned and working ! I feel so much better for seeing the clarity of what needs doing.,. Glad your side hustle going so well.
EMS today and lunch of airfried marinated chicken breasts, fried bak choi, mushrooms, asparagus, onions, celery and some slightly going off greens I fried in there too. Plus a side of huge salad inc organic spinach and a small handful of nuts - my visceral fat is going down..
Grocery Challenge £112.91/£200 11 days in to June ..
Popped into my Morries on way back from gym to get some more organic spinach (4 for 3. I am really enjoying eating loads of spinach whilst prepping my lunch with apple cider and balsamic vinegar, its tasty, nutritious and also apparently helps with blood sugar levels
Spent £20.01 on more greens, nuts (£5), lemons, limes, guac and salsa etc - no meat/fish
I bought lots of food for family this last weekend which ended up getting frozen plus I am planning to empty fridge/freezer before I go away so I need to eat down all the food so hopefully I wont blow my budget of £200 - I forgot to get coffee though and am down to a few (won) capusules and some coffee bags so will get tomorrowDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)

Of course issue with buying large bag of nuts is you over eat them …I did train (EMS) yesterday and walk 5 miles though.. I managed to stop snacking on them about half way thru the large packet in (500g pack!) yesterday.
So today I made sure to have a vegan protein shake with blueberries, flax seed, chia and organic spinach as a second snack before popping out to see a friend for a quick coffee.
He is intermittent fasting but only one meal a day and 10 days in has lost weight, feels great and not that hungry. He misses though the routine of food and of course that glass of wine with his husband.. I also drink more when I am dating someone.. I am doing a rough 12-6 pm intermittent fasting on days I am not going out or drinking and feel better for no late night snacking.
I actually have a date tomorrow evening, friend of a friend I met a couple of times in a group - we will see - he is very nice, makes me laugh, and grown up/intelligent/focused but I am a very busy La Plan and starting something before I go away this summer seems not ideal./ We will see...
My breakfast was marinated chicken breast and a beef burger with a very large salad. I am eating bags of organic spinach as my starter still
More food shopping £13.83 so now £126.74/£200 spent ... I had ran out of coffee so popped into Sains on way back - this is why I used to buy my coffee in bulk at Amazon as noone ever buys one thing...
I also bought an organic cauli as had a delicious chickpea, pistacho and shaved cauli salad last week at lunch in a vinegary/creamy sauce so I am planning to try to make a version.
Plus 3 for 2 frozen berries, and some DF butter reduced plus passata, and some sweets with a competition on
Frogs eaten
Driv license renewed - much easier than I thought
Sent off ad artwork to 2 places
Worked late last night on updating what graphics, printed stuff was needed and that I or my art director needed to complete and moved forward on some today
Started sending off some emails to market the side hustle but am individually looking up the people first and adding a personal touch to each. It takes time but firing off a blanket press release seems a bit pointless.
SIDE HUSTLE news - my prepaid sales are creeping up each dayI am thus tracking closing levels on a corner of my whiteboard.
SIPP
@edinburgher diary inspired me to move my £25 vinted sale balance into my sipp.... which has bounced back up nicely
My 2 sipps are now just short of £70k, £69,715 to be exact
Given I had 0 in Sipps April 4th 2020 I am thinking I have done pretty well.DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)

I pour small amounts of snack foods e.g. nuts, into teeny tiny bowls / dishes then close up the bag tightly and put it back in the cupboard in the kitchen - I’m not sure exactly what these bowl things are but it does help to control my consumption of them.Good luck with the date. I’d be upfront with him about who you are and what you plans and dreams are. If he’s interested he’ll tag along for the ride, if he’s not then ‘the rubbish will take itself out’ … 😉
Seriously impressed by by the SIPP growth since 2020. Well done! 👏
