No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

@dawnybabes 6 from 25 is fabulous.    I'm still working on mine to get back to where I would like to be but love the success stories like yours.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Admire your perseverance in keeping something on Vinted that long. I usually give up after a few weeks and CS items.

I had an evening side hustle so popped after to the Ald* opposite the overground £17..., looking for a FR Corn fed chicken which they had loads of so  I do like a chicken every 4 days as provides me with loads meals and great soup stock. Plus lean protein...
Bought some nuts, some red spring onions (never seen them before 99p), the fr chicken, some greens plus some bathroom cleaner (separate budget)

£34.11/£200 spent on groceries so far

I do have family here this weekend so will get some more speciality foods in as my DN  has loads allergies and has somewhat understandably become picky.  However she does love my cooking especially my experimental GF DF baking and so I can push her to eat things I cook

Got loads done today despite a slow start... lots of deadlines hitting
