so I will cut myself a bit of slack (and I have very heavy large cumbersome bosom now too). However I would still love to lose a stone.

Debtfree yes pregnancy and the subsequent baby/child rearing /exhaustion does really impact female bodies - so slack is given
@beanielou yes the weight we were at 21 is a bit scary for most of us!
Not posted this info at all to hound anyone on weight etc - but I am interested from a health/ type 2 diabetes point of view especially this 'set point' both my parents had it and have managed to come back from it, but my cousin died so I am using the medical info (there are some amazing pics of liver with /without fat as per Type 2 after being on the Prof plan) on the nhs/research to motivate me to get back to at my normal levels so that is the 10lbs plus I have put on since covid.
The more i read (and now see) about how excess weight as fat sits around your organs .... the more I chose to eat well and exercise 5/6 days a week plus walks the other day of rest.
I did EMS yesterday (with a 5mile walk round trip) and a MAX Insanity workout today - brekkie was a vegan protein shake with organic spinacgh, frozen blueberries, flax and chia and lunch a grilled pork chop with salsa, cucumber, the last of some roast veg plus a side of the soup I made yesterday (chicken and bean) with extra spinach added for extra greens. Now full
Dinner will be more soup and another pork chop and greens - no alcohol today again even though at a meeting tonight.
I have soaked some chana dal over night so will make a dal as my 'bean dish' for tomorrow as had a friend coming over to serve with grilled chicken and salad. Got some chicken stock out to defrost.
FROGs TO DO TODAY

Get the to do boards complete

Inspired by @TallGirl I have done that £100 invest s*s ISA as mentioned on mse weekly email - the £50 extra has magically appeared within an hour - need to invest it now but I see there is a min £100 so have added an extra £50 as think i need to leave it in there?
I am now trying to invest the next £100 but its not clear how to into a new fund / and I am good with such apps
I also note my CHIP cash isa has sent me a notification an offer for invest £100 into S&S ISA for £25 cash or gift card (my choice) by end May 2025 so I have started that - added cash in but had to wait til its cleared to invest .
Yesterday I made the Chana dal and had some - v tasty
I had a Buddhist mtg last night then met a friend who currently in london for a quick drink - I had to pay as she has no money but is job hunting. She is lovely but exhausting - she always has money issues, when she has it (which is rare) she spends it large and then always is trying to stay with people , she has borrowed money in part from me etc,
She is also supporting a business partner and his family with money she made this year yet is now living in a hostel .. as they have a court case she is part of that should give lots of cash when it’s finalised.
I tried gently suggesting she looked after herself first but that got brushed off. She is in her 40s
I got home and was so grateful I can afford a roof over my head , I have lovely furniture and a clean beautiful bed and it’s safe and I can pay for it
it’s now a week in of the new Tst and I feel good, I have also trained loads the last 2 weeks and I feel much better, stronger, leaner - dropped a couple llbs as well. So I am on the right trajectoryDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)

I ate a huge frog yesterday - added up all my invoices and added monthly interest to then chase the cash - I also wanted it on record in case I do have to take it further
its a lot, the company is waiting for a big remittance and I am apparently getting a lump sum then - fingers crossed.
a friend had a launch party last night and I invited loads of people - plus we have lots of friends in common - so I had a fantastic night last night seeing many lovely friends - reminding me as always why I love living in London.Looking at @watty1 thread some chat about lovely v reasonable houses in NI but London has my heart - just got to figure out the buying a home here.
I ended up in Freedom for a dance till closing so staggered home at 4.30am!The week seems very short.DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)

That really shows why London is the place for you! I had to work through that I'm not in the right place 'for me' and whilst I'm not sure where that will be at least I know that now. You have a fabulous and glam social life with lots of friends. Right place for you.
About that company non payment, I'm sure you already have this, but have you started the formal process of writing to them and letting them know the consequences of non payment? (I know you have the skills to do this but I do have some draft letters from a solicitor if you need ideas)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4 -
Professor Roy Taylor of Newcastle University is the country's leading diabetes doctor, with whom Dr Michael Mosley worked closely to develop the Low blood sugar diet (8-weeks) and the follow up fast diets and fasting diets to reverse it.
You already know my views on the company that owes you a lot of money and I am astounded you have not taken legal action to get your money before now. You first mentioned this company in 2021, and were sticking with them because of their imminent restructure.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £2664.85 out of £6000 after March (44.41%)

You first mentioned this company in 2021, and were sticking with them because of their imminent restructure. As an intellectual exercise and to get perspective on what’s happening here, it might be interesting to map out what they owed you then, and then what happened with invoices and payments since 2021 to current day. I suspect you will find that there is a core £##K value in there that they have sat on for the past four years. If that is enough to be the blocker to you buying what you want as a home, maybe that will motivate you to get the funds from them? Just trying to help with whatever is the ‘energetic’ block here, not have a pop at you.KKAs at 15.04.25:
- When bought house £315,995 mortgage debt and end date at start = October 2039 - now £236,911
- OPs to mortgage = £11,338 Interest saved £5225 to date
Fixed rate 3.85% ends January 2030
