Have I missed the point? Using one of the online unlocking sites I unlocked my Nokia 3510i (Virgin). The words came up that restrictions had been lifted.

I tried to test it with a SIM from an old Orange 'phone and it came up 'Phone Restricted'.

Treat me gently - I'm a newbie - but what else must I do?

sounds like not all the locks have been opened
did you use code 7?
if not, try it

Thanks, very much, drahcir. To be honest I hadn't realised it needed them all to be unlocked. Code 3 & 4 tell me they are not permitted. Code 7 tells me it wasn't restricted in the first place.

However, for all my fumbling it now takes the SIM I wanted it to so I'll quit while I'm ahead!
