code 7 usually removes all locks
otherwise try codes 1&5
i never use codes 2346 except some 6600s seem to need code 2
you only get 5 tries so you couldnt put all 7 in anyway

Thanks again, drahcir . I'm learning lots already. I didn't know the 5 attempts was for all codes you're going to use.

Forgive me if I've overlooked an explanatory thread but does each code have certain attributes (eg you say 7 usually unlocks everything)?

i did have a list of what each code removed but i cant find it
in uk code 7 usually removes all locks (on dct4 phones) but this is not always the case
sometimes code 1 or code 5 is needed

I have tried everywhere, even paying.. to find a code for my phone ( i have only put 1 in my phone though... and it didnt work) one place gave me five... can you PLEASE help me....

What is the difference between DCT3 & DCT4. Also what is GEN. My son has a Nokia 6600 he wants to unlock.

Any help would be much appreciated

But I don't know what does GEN mean. What should I choose here?
I see 7 codes will be shown if you tell me the GEN? And which one should I use?

dct3 are the older type nokias like 3210-3310-8210
dct4 are the newer ones from 8310 onwards (although a couple of the new cheap ones are still dct3)
6600 is dct4
use asic5 and v2 codes

i think these are the new bb5 type which only your service provider can do at the min
you will need to phone them for the price but it wont be cheap
