  • well done on the tidying buffy!  @greenbee - such a good tip - I am so bad at flitting between tasks and then never get anywhere.

And your mum cooked a meal - this is good
  • Well it is only Tuesday and I have already lost my temper with mum. We simply do not have the relationship to cope with this sort of strain. I should be grateful she is feeling better, I should enjoy the fact that she is feeling better. And I am, she made an amazing shepherds pie. I haven't had to cook yet this week. That is amazing truly. But I got in yesterday, made some calls to try and sort out some appointments, was then up and down all night doing odd things that were needed, didn't finish my work, went to bed exhausted with a headache, woke up with a headache, had a freezing day at work. Again up and down doing stuff, helping, answering her questions, now she is better she is back to being involved in everything, how often the dishwasher is on ,the washing machine, does the washing machine need emptying, she put her blanket on, told/asked stuff and I KNOW I sound petty. I know I do. I have been doing all this !!!!!! for months, without being asked or told (!!!!!!) I also don't need any help and I get it she can now see I am tired and in pain (I have hurt my shoulder somehow) and she is being nice. It is just hard. I am so brutally tired.

  • Today was better.

I got up and instead of rushing into the shower I went downstairs and did some sorting out  - pills, kitchen, got my lunch let the dogs out. Put all my stuff by the door, and then went to the shower, there was no panicky rushing, the dogs actually got a fuss, everyone got properly fed, not just food thrown near them.

Work was as ever a slap in the face, have a million things to do but the kids were funny. then I had to leave early to get mum to the opticians. That was a bit stressful. Parking etc.

But then I did the recycling, my walk, put the dinner on, cleaned out the animals, made lunches, fed dogs, loaded dishwasher and put some washing on.

Am cold and really tired but it is a lovely feeling to know all my jobs are done.

I have decided to come home early every day except Tuesday and Thursday. Spend more time on the house, and animals. Work is piling up but will have to wait.

  • Can't believe it is 11am already.

Work was rough but did distract me from my worries. Unfortunately Saturday brings them all back. I was meant to get up and go out shopping but that didn't happen, Mum got up unusually early and thus I was around for her. Still we have had breakfast.  I have that horrible stuffy nose ache going on.

I think I might log in to my bank and see what is going on.
