It amazes me how few people seem to have any instincts of self preservation. At least if you are meeting friends you have some idea of how likely they are to have been exposed. But with total strangers now invading your space whilst shopping when you have no idea if they have been going to raves to make up for lost time its very worrying. I have been surprised though about the people who are still wearing masks. In the beginning it used to be young(ish) men who didn't, but they seem to be carrying on wearing them when some older people no longer are. When 47% of people getting it have been double jabbed my mask is staying on.

Headache never went. I did an 9032 step walk and need to get another 1000 to make my target. I feel rubbish but need to
1. make dinner
2. clean out outside buns
3. start moving things to kitchen.......
4. Do a load of washing.
5. Try not to throw up!!

Just to remind you that after you have had the vaccination you are supposed to take it easy for a couple of days. Take a day or two off from being wonderwoman!!

We are having this dilemma at the moment, once I come out of hospital I can't lift anything for 6 weeks, no gardening/exercise to be kept to gentle walks. But what do I do if DH has a fall? He can't carry stuff and use his crutches, he can't get the washing on the line, I can't help him in and out the shower and help him get dressed, he can't cut the grass etc etc.
we are just going to have to ask for help (which we hate doing). If he has a fall then both neighbours have said just to text and they'll be round to get him up. Will have to order the shopping in but we prefer Lidl/Aldi which don't deliver. Lots of compromises to be made.
I can't risk damaging myself and need to heal but it's a big worry.

I don't actually know what I would do. Even more reason to sort the house out. For real. ugh.
I managed dinner, the rabbits, no joy on the washing, or moving things. Bending over isn't a good plan. I hate this part of the migraine, I am convinced I left the oven on, didn't lock the rabbits up. Pretty sure I never gave house bun his meds this morning. Also totally forgot to fix the bathroom light and measure the raised beds.
any how drink my water and go to bed as soon as I can.

It’s not easy when caring for somebody and being incapacitated yourself. The best advice I can say is have as many ready meals ( home made or bought in) then there’s no lifting heavy pans as you recover…..and take as much help as you can get. If it’s something you don’t like doing….think of payback ways once you’ve recovered.
Glad you’re feeling a bit better after the vaccine- got to be better than Covid 👍January spends - £587.581 -
Hi Buffy, I read often, but lurk... I've been watching Silent Witness from the start over this last year or so and recently Harry disappeared and Jack arrived!! He is so annoying and I doubt would ever survive in any workplace

And yes I too have watched from the start. Not as fair back as the Amanda Burton series, but the start of the Nicky Alexander character, I must have watched it before, but I don't remember it being as dark as it. Some episodes are very depressing. And don't mention Leo! Heart Broken.
