Good luck Buffy, looking forward to seeing that list get ticked off over the summer. Hope you get to have some fun too.
  • Morning all

Forgot to say I signed up for a 10,000 steps a day challenge and people have sponsored me! so now I have to do it!

I have spent some time looking at my accounts this morning. I am going to be very careful this month, I don't have much money at all considering it is the holidays. Saying that tho I only have a few plans and shouldn't need to make any (more) big purchases. Drinks this Thursday, and an afternoon tea the week after. Visiting my best friend today.

Big CC - 1660, Small CC - 0 (that probably won't last tho.)
General savings 1400 (but 1000 of that is from cc debt so you know!)

Did an online mortgage thing - I know they are very general but it said I could borrow 223,000 so that perked me up.

Today I need to clean downstairs as mum has the hairdresser coming and then off out for the afternoon.

Made some more inquiries about rescues for the rabbits, flipping dreamt about them last night. New bun must go outside, she has destroyed everything and deserves a better life. I think house bun likes her but she is so destructive and crazy, I will damage her keeping her trapped like this. :(

I'm here cheering you on too!

When DD and her partner did an online mortgage thing they got the £280k they needed for the house they wanted but when they went via a financial planner bloke they were actually being offered £360k (which scared them both rigid and they opted for the least amount possible).

The steps challenge might be a good thing and the motivation to help you get out a little more. I always feel better when I have been out and about in nature and relaxing that way.

I did a mortgage thing and they said for me £230k. That really surprised me. When we looked into it though it was more like 200k that they would comfortably lend me. The extra meant meeting a lot of strict criteria.

Have a lovely evening Buffy x

  • I have two thousand more steps to do today. Am tired mind :)

Not a bad day, spent the morning tidying up. Conservatory might not be as bad as I think. Mum had the hairdresser round so I went shopping.
I spent 21.97 on a tower fan ( mine stopped working) and some chocolate, then 12 quid on underbed storage boxes (as litter trays) car sponges (to clean conservatory), grass seed and cheap notepads for the lists.

Oh and ermmm 6.50 on lunch!

Booked smallest rabbit in for vaccines on Wednesday and will ask about spaying.

I am in the mood for a nap and then a sort of my room. oh and the walk - which won't take long...
