  • Went and got my second vaccine today. Kinda went on autopilot, the NHS staff were amazing and kind and it got done. My arm hurts a bit but it is ok.

I am going to have a nap and then go out in the garden. I like it out there!!

I do have a headache, but that is pretty normal for me and otherwise I am fine, touch wood.

I am debating what to do. We are having jacket potatoes for dinner, so that isn't complicated. I would like to do the garden, my "bit" up the back (ooo errrr) is over grown. I never did move the lavender and it is huge now. And full of Bees. And I know I am supposed to love the Bees and whatever but they FREAK ME OUT. I wasn't made for outdoor things that fly around. I don't know where to put the lavender.....

I should put it up the back of the shed......but the soil is rock hard (clay).....hmmm.  I shall go and look and poke around at it.

Have done my 10,000 steps for 3 days now.

Am half watching Sue Perkins in Japan - both hilarious and fascinating.

Well done on getting fully vaxxed 🥳 I like bees as long as there’s not too many of them all at once. I’d never have one of those insect hotels in my garden as I’m a bit iffy with beetles🪲 😱
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

It is funny what freaks us out isn't it? Beetles from a distance I am ok with, not great with wasps AT ALL, bees, Butterflies, moths.........I don't know why I like gardening...........

I have decided to create a flower bed and put the lavender in it. Far too big for a pot now. And I can avoid that bit of the garden!

I am getting the dogs groomed tomorrow and small bunny vaccinated. Expensive day. I am looking at raised beds on e bay, also expensive.......

  • Check your soil type with the lavender. We have very acidic soil here which is great for camellias but terrible for lavender, so have to grow ours in pots of compost rather than open ground.

My rabbits love my lavender plant. They’ve eaten most of it so I’ve had to move it just in case yours is in reach of them!
