so things here are quite terrible.
I am not going to go over and over it all as it is the normal stuff plus some serious medical stuff but the upshot is I am taking Mum to the hospital tomorrow, she is seriously anaemic and needs a blood transfusion. We have to be there by 8am.
She is ok, watching a film. I am sitting here with chest pains!
I think I also screwed up a return I did, seems silly but it is worth 200 pounds. So I hope I am ok.
I am going to go work on my room as I really need a sanctuary more than ever!

So sorry things are tough. Take care and don’t ignore your chest pains……get them checked if they continue. Hope the treatment works for your mum 👍January spends - £587.582

thanks Milann XX When I say she is ok we had a couple of hours of being very sad and scared. I feel bad about what an awful holiday it has been. You would think with the sudden illness and death of my uncle would have snapped me right along but it didn't.milann said:So sorry things are tough. Has she had a transfusion before? They’re ok really, just long and dull x2
-
No, last time it was fluids I think and that took ages. The only slightly alarming thing is the doctor called, the nurse called and the consultant called all to check mum was ok and knew she HAD to be at the hospital tomorrow. Also she I have to book various tests for her too. Obviously I am keeping a close eye on her tonight. Very stressed and feeling SO responsible for everything.stymied said:Has she had a transfusion before? They’re ok really, just long and dull xNevertheless she persisted.2 -
Oh Buffy, I do feel for you. But, like others have said, your Mum will feel so much better after the transfusion.Good idea to beaver away with your room, but do please take care of yourself too. You’ve nothing to feel guilty about.

Thanks everyone XX
Mum has eaten dinner. I have happily discovered that the pile under my desk is actually all charity shop or recycling, I had to pile other stuff in front... so it will be quite easily sorted.
I just wish tomorrow would hurry up and come. and be done with.
I am enjoying Poldark, at least.....
