Never heard of timetable rollover? What’s that?
    x
    It is crap!

At this point in the year when you are hanging on by a thread they issue a new timetable, new classes, new seating plans new SEN info, new books and you start the new year now. I used to cry. Generally It is a horrendous disrupted end of the year with out the celebration or winding down and then it is sports day and the world ends!
Sounds dire. Having year 11 leave used to just give the breathing space you needed x

  • So here things are so bad at work that even mum noticed how stressed out I am by it all. It isn't like it is any worse than normal I just think I had a bit of faith the new set up and it is failing badly. I feel so disappointed and haven't got anyone to voice my fears to. I had previously always had someone - but now they have all left and without the unifying force or I suppose the relief? of that outlet we are becoming fractious and over sensitive with each other.  That is very hard to manage.

I have regretted not giving in my notice. However in the same thought I am still excited about some of the changes next year. I have been doing some planning, I do love my teaching. I must remember right now I am so tired. It has been a very bad week. Mind you my lessons aren't bad.

Another reason why it has been an awful week is that I got the offer of some free fish - since the gardener screwed up my pond I never added any more fish and I only have a few left - didn't want to spend any more etc. Any how I went to collect them - all a bit rushed, they didn't look great to be fair but I took them home, then the tub I was using had a crack in it and I had to fill about another tub!

I put the fish in the tub (water treated/tested/filtered etc) and they sort of hung in the water . By the next morning 6 were dead and today one more died. They are huge fish. Never had to deal with anything like this. It was awful. The guilt.

I have 3 left and I am not sure they will survive.

Aside from that I have spent a ridiculous amount of money. I came home tonight with a terrible headache. I am sure it needs to rain. The pressure is unreal.

  • Slept really well thank God and successfully got Mum vaccinated. Done some washing, bought lunch (bad!) am about to go out and buy dinner (bad) (and maybe go to H*me b*rgains!) , my lack of meal planning this week is awful. How ever I have paid off my CC,  sorted shopping and food for next week, I have organised myself to get another run for the rabbits, as now they are definitely bonded they need more room. It isn't coming till August (!) but that gives me time to sort out the space where it is going.

I was meant to be in the garden today but couldn't face it, too tired! Tomorrow is another day!

  • I went to H*me bargains yesterday and Sainsbugs. It was lovely and empty as not many people go shopping on a Saturday and I had a whole hour and a half to myself.

This morning I was meant to garden but instead I hoovered, emptied the dishwasher and put my washing away. It is almost 11, I am hungry. Had one slice of toast but it isn't enough!! I bought granola yesterday......... might try that.

I really want to get outside tho!

Your day out sounded lovely. Also good news that your mum is vaccinated.
Hope the end of term come quickly for you then you can relax for a while.
Loosing the fish must have been awful. Hope the rest of them are ok and they haven’t brought any disease to your pond. We used to have fish outside then one severe winter we lost them all along with a lot of frogs (what is the cumulative name for a group of 🐸) We have had fish in it since.

  • I tried to garden, it was really hard

I have bought plants. And compost. I hurt every where and am sunburnt.

Also, I have a wonky hedge. And dead roses. And roses with black spot.

and i need to go to bed! XXX

  • hedge is still wonky.

    my feet hurt.

The rabbits are cute. The dogs got sad when I went to work this morning and were only themselves (according to mum) when I came home. Work was rubbish.

mind you got paid, so there is that.

The professionals here are expensive. 55 pounds an hour. So not really a plan. I mean it could be. But I am bloody minded enough to say !!!!!! it and do it myself. Tho not making myself ill like I did on Sunday.

I was sad about the fish. They were in a state from the off but I thought I could sort them. Disposing of them was AWFUL. I have handled live fish many many times but..............not so good once they are dead. The three survivors are doing ok. I had to buy a new pump/filter. Something else to take to the tip.

The struggle at work continues but I am trying to plan the house stuff to all be done by the 1st of August.
More on that, need to let the dogs out.
