Put together a lovely salad tonight after a !!!!!! day.
work is still so bad. I am trying to remain positive but as I am sure anyone waiting for the big O knows you get to Thursday and are falling apart with the stress and expectation of "the phone call". I have SO much to do in all aspects of my life. Absolutely !!!!!! tonne of work.
The heat is awful. am too tired right now to do anything.Nevertheless she persisted.1 -
You have my sympathies...just had the Big O and hadn’t realised just how much pressure I’d felt until they had come and gone!paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

My youngest DD is Senco at a nursery that had the big O last week, she was in bits worrying about it all. So much pressure.
Years ago when my two were little I set up as a childminder, I had to be Big O inspected and the inspector arrived at 8am and was with me until 5pm, I'm my house, I was to "pretend she wasn't there"...very difficult when you have another adult walking 3 steps behind on the school run, hovering in the doorway to each room as you move about. Once the little ones had settled for their nap after lunch I had to go through all my paperwork with her whilst eating lunch and setting up afternoon activities. It was a hideous day but I did get the top marks you could get for a new (under 6months since opening) setting and never saw another inspector.6 -

I wish I didn't care. I wish I didn't. Mondays are stressful, Tuesdays are stressful, Wednesday might be alright but equally might not be (all due to meetings and a crazy list of things to do) and Thursday I am always SO tired. Everyone feels it. I still feel for the head, huge task. but he is killing us.
Am so so happy it Friday. Am looking forward to this weekend, meeting friends for lunch tomorrow and a walk on Sunday.
Nevertheless she persisted.3 -

The bit I find so hard is the constant checking, the constant emails, the constant worry that someone is going to come round and judge you and you haven't done "something". The list of things to do is actually insane. So many documents. Constant and relentless.
I need to get more work done this weekend as well.Nevertheless she persisted.4 -
I was surprised by what they didn’t ask to see. I thought that since RHSE was new, we’d have them poring over it, but they didn’t even mention it.
Hope you have time to relax and recharge this weekend Buffy.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

I remember one school I was in wanted everyone in at the weekend before the big O were due early the following week - changing displays throughout the school….some had only been up a matter of weeks. My son was moving house and I refused to go in. The teacher didn’t speak to me for weeks unless she had to…..decided I wasn’t a team player….needless to say I got a different job in a lovely school soon after 😡😡 I really wish they would just turn up - see everything just as it is. It would reduce the stress and they’d get a better picture. So pleased I’m out of it now in that respect.January spends - £587.586

Of course the relief of Friday is replaced by the stress of Saturday. I am seeing my friends in a bit but mum is on one today. I am not sure how much impact the steroids are having but the other tablets have helped with her hands so she is up and in everything! She has a week left of the steroids, we will see what she is like after that.
Normally I would have put washing on last night but I didn't as was so knackered so now I am behind. I have a headache - basically the stress of mum! She gets up SUPER early now and I have to play catch all weekend and then it is SMACK back into the stress of work! Am feeling sorry for myself right now, I am sure lunch with my friends will work its magic.
Nigella Lawson so bloody irritating. SO pleased with herself and looks amazing, I am not jealous AT ALL.Nevertheless she persisted.3 -
Er, I don't think you need to be jealous of Nigella - alleged cocaine use and public domestic violence don't exactly suggest she's having a great time.
