Last day of the break. Not that it has been a break. I keep hoping things will get better but they just get worse!
The house is hot. Mum is doing ok. I am going to the tip in a minute. Am just watching the Royals arrive at St Pauls (my favourite place in London) I haven't seen any politicians apart from the Mayor of London so that is good - their existence makes me fume. I get this lot are all entitled and whatever but they make people so happy and do some good stuff so sod it. I shall enjoy it until the next scandal.
I wish I could lip read!!

Today I went to the Tip THREE times.
The shed looks NO DIFFERENT.
I swear the rubbish just breeds and breeds.
Still no room for the hay............
I need to go out there again and see what else can go.
I also bought a new lawn mower as I lost the will to live with the other one. It kept cutting out, so I changed the plug, plug socket, thought it was cos I was over using it. But still it kept stopping, I think it was over heating? The new one was 70 quid so not top of the range, but hopefully easier to use.
I actually feel like doing some gardening in the front.... Got to cook dinner at some point. Wish half term was two weeks long.Nevertheless she persisted.3 -
With you on wishing for 2 weeks of half term! Well done on 3 tip runs in one day, most impressive. I’ve done one but could do with doing a couple more.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.
2025 savings challenge £0/£2000 EF £140. Savings 2 £30.00. 172 -
Another wishing for two weeks, then just thinking it’s one more term xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x2 -
I am quite tired of wishing for holidays when I am in work though. I mean what do people in normal jobs do? Is it possible to enjoy a weekend, are there people who don't prep on the weekends?
Anyhow. I looked at the money situation and it isn't toooooo bad.... Have paid off 1498 from the loan since the start of the year. Not as much as I would like but at least it is somewhat overpaid.
Am a bit cold. Hmmm.
Plans for the day include going to the chemist. I wanted to take all the hutches (!) They are only small! to the tip but am not sure now as am going to a BBQ and that involves two buses so I am not sure I will have time.
I need to do some washing, clean out the piggies. possibly bathe the piggies. Hoover.
Am glad to be going out. Seeing my absolute best friends in the world.
I am really cold now. Must have left the back door open.
I shall go and investigate.

If it helps - I've never had a job where work doesn't take up evenings/weekends. Most days I have meetings until 7ish, sometimes until 10pm. Weekends often involve a couple of hours of email/catching up - and sometimes I'm away from home because of travel, or on a plane. Even if I travel during the week it often means leaving home at 5am or not getting back until midnight. If I get the red-eye, then I'm usually back at my desk mid-morning with a full day ahead.
On the plus side, I don't have to deal with kids. Although some days it doesn't feel like it...2 -
