I think it’s time to get the professionals in for the moths then, should be able to do the whole house in a couple of hours. If they get into your clothes/bedding etc you’ll have to replace everything.
I haven’t had carpet for 12 years now, will never go back to it. Luckily this house has the original parquet flooring which I’ve painstakingly sanded and resealed room by room but it’s so easy to clean, quick sweep every day, hoover once a week and mop every few days. Carpet is just grim.Any chance your Mum would go for the carpets being removed?1 -
Agree on the professionals.
Best to do it before it gets any worse.
A friend had to have her house done.

Morning.
I am so tired! I didn't go to bed till late last night, lots of things going round my head about the bloody rabbits. Smallest bun has chewed a hole in her hutch so she can't stay in it as it means the floor is dropping out! oo I don't think I bored you with her latest, she got out whilst I was cleaning her out and my not foster girl attacked her - no damage just another traumatic event in her little life. The others weren't bothered. Not that apparently that means anything as not foster girl is in charge and the rest of them go along with it. I couldn't catch her ( - the cage is 72 square feet) but luckily she went back to her hutch on her own. My boy really likes her. But he likes everyone!
All the hutches are going, now they are bonded they can have a slightly different set up. I might try one last time to bond them on grass in the run. Totally neutral territory may work. Plus a new to them set up.
Today I must finish cutting the grass! and do some strimming of weeds. Also look at my bank account. Might do that now.
Thrilling times!

I am watching the trooping of the colour, quite an amazing bit of organisation and so impressive with the horses and what have you. I think the British do things like that so well. And it is so unique. 70 years.
