Hello all
As ever most of my time is taken by mum - nothing major but just waiting for her. It is just part of living with someone really.
It is horrible here tho. The house is in a terrible state. Everywhere needs hoovering. The kitchen is fairly decent. The floor needs cleaning. The rest of it is ok. I am ashamed of my room. And cannot see a way out of it. I will eventually obviously but we have a moth infestation at the moment (well for months) and they just aren't going away. I find it really upsetting and actually got quite distressed this morning.
I attempted the rabbits yesterday and to cut the grass. It rained.
It rained a lot. So the grass is half cut and I will try tomorrow - the only day it isn't going to rain. I am wanting to paint some rabbit furniture. But it will rain today. !!!!!!.
I think I will do some "stuff" in the shed. Try and make progress there.

Sorry to hear about the moths Buffy - have you had any advice on what do to with them? Are they in one spot or in carpets etc?I loathe hoovering and dusting so am not exactly a model to follow but re things that work for me - have you looked at robot hoovers? Mine doesn't do quite as well as a proper one, but shutting it in a room while I do something else is a whole lot better than nowt. I also bought a second handheld so that with one upstairs and one down it's really easy to just grab it and do eg 2 minutes round the skirting while the microwave pings - again, it's not as powerful as a proper hoover but doing little and often means more gets done.

I just couldn't deal with the moths this morning. They are every where but mainly the carpet. Mine has holes in it. It is very frustrating. Oh and gross!!!
In more cheerful news the shed is looking better than I thought. And I made a couple of decisions re the rabbits, lots of tip runs on Friday. My plans today are just about a nap, some recycling and then tidying the conservatory (for a change)Nevertheless she persisted.2 -
Buffy as Friday is a Public Holiday have you checked if and what time the tip is open?If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.1

Eeeeeek to the carpet moths, that would freak me out too, are you using anything specific to get rid of them? Might it be worth a pest control visit to do a big controlled cull in one go?
Could you free up some room in the shed or conservatory to paint the bunny bits you need?

Since living with carpet moths in a rented house years ago I’ve shied away ever having wool carpet again. I’m afraid I would be ripping up and throwing out the carpet. Horrible things!1

I was using flea spray but unless you can treat the whole house some always survive and I have had to do upstairs and downstairs separately as there is no where else for mum to sit.
God the One show is annoying.
I am starting my walking again. 20 minutes a day for June whilst dinner is cooking.
Other goals
1. 20 bags to the charity shop once everything is washed.
2. 10 trips to the tip
3. French daily
4. low spend....Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
Are the tip trips mostly from cleaning out the animals or are you gradually managing to get rid of stuff?
